The Jazz have waived Trey Gilder.
Gilder was signed less than two weeks ago but the team decided to move on without him.

Keyonte George (left ankle sprain) is out for Monday’s game against the Cavaliers.
George will miss a second straight game after spraining his ankle during Thursday’s win over the Pistons. Collin Sexton shifted to point guard on Saturday when the Jazz faced the Nets and should remain in that role, with Svi Mykhailiuk entering the starting lineup.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey (illness) will be available to play against San Antonio on Monday.
Maxey was initially listed as probable, but Nick Nurse said that all three “main guys” will be available to play. Barring Nurse valuing his players completely differently from fantasy managers, that should mean that Maxey is good to go despite the illness.
  • ORL Point Guard #4
Jalen Suggs (right ankle sprain) is a game-time decision for Monday’s game against Boston.
Suggs was initially considered questionable for Monday’s game, so nothing has changed. However, fantasy managers will have to wait a bit longer to find out the final decision on the Magic guard’s status. If Suggs cannot play, Anthony Black will remain in the starting lineup, with Cole Anthony also taking on a more significant role.
  • UTA Power Forward #20
John Collins (left hip contusion) is out for Monday’s game against the Cavaliers.
No surprise here as Collins was originally listed as doubtful. Walker Kessler could move into the starting lineup with Collins out, while Kyle Filipowski will see additional minutes off the bench.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #14
Ricky Council IV (right knee soreness) has been upgraded to available for Monday’s matchup with the Spurs.
Council IV was initially listed as questionable, but he’ll be available to fill his typical role off the bench. With Joel Embiid back, he likely won’t see enough minutes to even consider streaming, especially on a day with 14 games.
  • BOS Small Forward #30
Sam Hauser (low back spasms) is available for Monday’s game against the Magic.
Hauser has missed the last two Celtics games, but he’ll be back in the rotation for the defending champions Monday. His return will cut into the additional minutes Payton Pritchard was seeing over the last two games.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #5
Anthony Edwards has been fined $75,000 by the NBA for public criticism of officiating and using inappropriate and profane language.
Edwards’ comments came after the Timberwolves’ loss to the Warriors on Saturday. It seemed like Edwards has been frustrated with officiating this entire season and it boiled over after another game where he considered the officiating “terrible.” It’s unsurprising that the league took issue with the language used by the 23-year-old shooting guard in his postgame media availability Saturday.
  • IND Point Guard #26
Ben Sheppard (left oblique strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Sheppard has played two games since returning from an oblique injury, but now he’s back on the injury report and listed as questionable Monday. He isn’t fantasy relevant, but if he’s out Monday it will impact the Pacers’ bench depth.
  • WAS Center #20
Alexandre Sarr is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder due to lower back soreness.
Sarr’s injury could free up more time for Jonas Valanciunas if the rookie is ultimately ruled out. Oklahoma City has allowed the most rebounds to opponents this season, setting up JV as a solid streaming option in that scenario.
  • DEN Point Guard #27
Jamal Murray is questionable for Monday’s matchup with Phoenix due to a right ankle sprain.
Murray has played well since returning from a hamstring injury, but this latest ailment could keep him sidelined against the Suns. If he’s ultimately ruled out, Russell Westbrook could earn a spot start.
