  • BKN Shooting Guard #2

The Timberwolves worked out guards Randy Foye and Ronnie Brewer and forwards Rodney Carney and Bobby Jones Thursday.
“This is the best group we’ve had in so far,” said Fred Hoiberg, who is heavily involved in the team’s pre-draft scouting. “Just their intensity, their energy level, their willingness to compete.” Coach Dwane Casey compared Foye to Marcus Banks, a speedy shooting guard who can play the point.
  • SAC Small Forward #10

DeMar DeRozan (lower back tightness) has been cleared to resume on-court activity and is day-to-day.
DeRozan was already ruled out for Monday’s game against the Hawks, the third he will miss due to the back injury. However, being cleared to resume on-court activity suggests a return isn’t far away. Doug McDermott started on Saturday but only possesses limited streaming value with DeRozan unavailable.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #0
Malik Monk (right ankle injury) has been cleared for individual on-court work and will be re-evaluated in the coming days.
Monk has already been ruled out for Monday’s game against Atlanta, but he’s inching closer. They don’t play again until Friday, so there is certainly a chance that e could be back in the lineup for that game against the Clippers.
  • SAC Power Forward #11
Domantas Sabonis (lower back tightness) is out for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Sabonis will miss a second straight game due to tightness in his lower back. But, he has been cleared to resume on-court activity, so a return to action may not be too far away. Trey Lyles and Doug McDermott moved into the starting lineup on Saturday, but the matchup may lead to Alex Len figuring more prominently in the rotation.
  • LAL Shooting Guard #9
Bronny James (left heel contusion) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s game against Utah.
James isn’t part of the team‘s rotation when healthy, so his expected absence won’t have an impact on fantasy basketball.
  • LAL Small Forward #5
Cam Reddish (right peroneal strain) is not on the injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Jazz.
Reddish is set to return to action after missing two games due to injury. Max Christie, who did not offer much value as a streamer with Reddish sidelined, heads back to the bench.
  • LAL Shooting Guard #0
Jalen Hood-Schifino (left groin soreness) will remain sidelined for Tuesday’s game against Utah.
Hood-Schifino isn’t part of the team’s rotation when he’s healthy, so his continued absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • UTA Center #24
Walker Kessler (right hip bursitis) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Kessler will miss a fifth consecutive game, meaning John Collins stays in the starting lineup. Collins is providing top-50 fantasy value and is already rostered in over 90% of Yahoo leagues. Managers seeking a streamer should consider Kyle Filipowski, who recently replaced Cody Williams in the starting lineup.
  • LAL Power Forward #3
Anthony Davis (left foot plantar fasciitis) is probable for Tuesday’s game against Utah.
Davis is still dealing with this foot issue, but it shouldn’t cause him to miss this game. He should be in for a big night, especially with Walker Kessler sidelined.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Heat and will start.
Considered doubtful for Monday’s game, Embiid has been given the all-clear after going through his pregame routine. He’ll start with Andre Drummond and Guerschon Yabusele next in line.
  • IND Power Forward #5
The Pacers will start Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Enrique Freeman, Jarace Walker and Pascal Siakam against Toronto on Monday.
With Myles Turner and Ben Sheppard both sidelined for this game, Walker and Freeman will both get the first starts of their careers. Indiana’s rotation will be pretty different due to the number of injuries, and there should be plenty of minutes for both players.
