Projected in most mock drafts as a top-five pick, Tyrus Thomas has received inquiries from Toronto, Chicago, Charlotte and Portland - teams holding the top four draft picks.
Many experts have him going No. 2 overall to the Chicago Bulls. Thomas has scheduled to work out for the Bulls on June 15, and is already practicing privately with Bulls guard and former LSU standout Randy Livingston.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Damian Lillard (blood clot) will be cleared to return at some point during the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
It’s unclear how soon Lillard will be cleared to return to the hardwood but an upcoming exam will determine his timetable. Kevin Porter Jr. is averaging 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game without the star point guard this season.
  • NYK Power Forward #17
The Knicks will start Miles McBride, Cameron Payne, Mikal Bridges, P.J. Tucker, and Precious Achiuwa against the Nets on Sunday.
Tucker is set to make his first start of the season for the shorthanded Knicks. The 3-and-D forward will likely be asked to carry a heavy workload in the final regular season, but there’s no telling how productive he’ll be given that he’s averaging 1.5 points through two appearances in 2024-25.
  • MIA Point Guard #45
Davion Mitchell, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Kel’el Ware will start Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Tyler Herro, Alec Burks, Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo are out for Sunday’s regular-season finale, getting an extra day of rest before Wednesday’s play-in tournament matchup with the Bulls. Mitchell, Robinson, Jaquez and Highsmith are the replacements, with the first two being especially valuable to fantasy managers in active leagues seeking value on the waiver wire.
  • BKN Center #33
Tyrese Martin, Keon Johnson, Jalen Wilson, Trendon Watford and Nic Claxton will start Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Claxton is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. While Precious Achiuwa should be a good matchup for him, fantasy managers in active leagues should assume Claxton will not log starters’ minutes in the regular-season finale. Johnson, Watford and Wilson offer decent fantasy ceilings for Sunday’s loaded schedule.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham (knee) is listed as out against the Bucks on Sunday.
Cunningham, who was listed as probable until 30 minutes before this game started, was downgraded to questionable and then ruled out shortly after. The East standings are already set, so Cunningham wouldn’t have played much if he was available. Marcus Sasser will start in his place for the regular season finale.
  • CHA Power Forward #31
The Hornets will start KJ Simpson, DaQuan Jeffries, Josh Okogie, Tidjane Salaun, and Jusuf Nurkic against the Celtics on Sunday.
Nick Smith Jr. is out with a groin injury and will be replaced by Salaun in the starting lineup against Boston. The rookie is averaging 6.6 points and 5.9 rebounds through nine starts this season.
  • DET Point Guard #25
Marcus Sasser, Ron Holland II, Tim Hardaway Jr., Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren will start Sunday’s game against the Bucks.
Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson are out for Sunday’s regular-season finale, and they’ve been replaced in the lineup by Sasser and Holland. Both youngsters are worth the risk in active deep leagues, as regulars Hardaway, Harris and Duren are unlikely to play starters’ minutes. Also, Paul Reed is worth a dice roll since Isaiah Stewart is unavailable.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey (finger) said he needs “at least another month” before he can get back to basketball.
Maxey, who has been sidelined since early March, should be ready for the start of next season, but it’s going to be a little while before he returns to playing basketball. Maxey’s season has been over for a while, and the 76ers aren’t going to play in the postseason, so this won’t have any immediate impact. However, it appears that his finger injury is fairly severe, since it’ll end up being close to three months off before he returns to basketball activities.
  • MIL Point Guard #15
Jamaree Bouyea, AJ Green, Pat Connaughton, Kyle Kuzma and Pete Nance will start Sunday’s game against the Pistons.
The Bucks are holding out Ryan Rollins, Taurean Prince, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez from Sunday’s regular-season finale, as their playoff seeding has been determined. Kuzma is the lone holdover, and it’s likely safe to assume that he will not play starters’ minutes. Green is the safest bet of the four replacements for fantasy managers in active leagues seeking streamers.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #5
The 76ers will start Jared Butler, Quentin Grimes, Lonnie Walker IV, Marcus Bagley, and Adem Bona against the Bulls on Sunday.
Grimes is back in the mix for the shorthanded 76ers and will bump Ricky Council IV to the bench.
