This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Wednesday’s nine-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Trae Young - Atlanta (at Minnesota)
Young is probable tonight, and I’m expecting a big performance from the first-time All-Star. This Minnesota-Atlanta game has the highest total of the night at 238. That’s not much of a surprise considering both teams rank top five in pace and bottom six for overall defensive efficiency. Young should find himself in several mismatches while facing the short-handed Timberwolves, and I’d be shocked if he didn’t surpass his season average of 47 FPPG.
Also Consider: Chris Paul, Jordan McLaughlin

SHOOTING GUARD
Caris LeVert - Brooklyn (vs. Golden State)
Kyrie Irving is injured, meaning Levert has a clear path to starter-like playing time. That was the case on Monday, where Levert racked up 44 fantasy points in 32 minutes. We can’t bank on that level of efficiency in every game, but Levert should be able to find success against a Golden State team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency to shooting guards. On top of that, Levert is vastly underpriced when considering the heightened role sans Irving.
Also Consider: Andrew Wiggins, Bruce Brown Jr.
SMALL FORWARD
Josh Okogie - Minnesota (vs. Atlanta)
As mentioned earlier, the Timberwolves could be short-handed tonight with Shabazz Napier, Keita Bates-Diop, Noah Vonleh, and Jordan Bell traded away. Minnesota will welcome Juancho Hernangomez, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley - but I’m not sure they’ll be ready to suit up with the trade taking place late last night. Keep an eye on their status, but I’m assuming the Wolves will be without their services tonight. That should promote Okogie and Jarrett Culver to 30+ minute roles. Okogie has been reasonably efficient with 22 and 23 fantasy points in 26 minutes for each of the last two games, and he should be able to post respectable value with more playing time. The fact that Atlanta ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to small forwards helps too.
Also Consider: Kelly Oubre Jr., Jarrett Culver
POWER FORWARD
Kristaps Porzingis - Dallas (vs. Memphis)
Luka Doncic will miss his fourth straight game tonight, meaning Kristaps Porzingis will see plenty of usage. Porzingis has stepped up in Luka’s absence to notch 54 fantasy points in each of his last two games. There’s a good chance he’ll hover around that range against a Memphis squad that ranks 19th in defensive efficiency to power forwards. There’s enough value on tonight’s slate, so you should be able to easily fit Porzingis into a confident lineup.
Also Consider: Josh Collins, Serge Ibaka
CENTER
Karl-Anthony Towns - Minnesota (vs. Atlanta)
As mentioned in the previous write-up, there’s a ton of value tonight. That opens the door for striking a high-upside combination of top-dollar picks. Trae Young, Kristaps Porzingis, and Karl-Anthony Towns lead that front in my opinion. This Minnesota-Atlanta game should feature plenty of offense, and Towns could be asked to step up even more with the Wolves having less depth. Either way, KAT should be able to dominate an Atlanta team that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to opposing frontcourts.
Also Consider: Jonas Valanciunas (if playing)
