This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Monday’s main slate starting at 7:00 ET.

POINT GUARD

TJ McConnell - Indiana (vs. San Antonio) - DK: $11,000 / FD: $10,400 / Yahoo: $49

This is an injury-contingent play. Malcolm Brogdon is questionable tonight, and McConnell would continue to see more minutes if he’s out. That has been the case over the last two games, and McConnell stepped up for 33 and 34 minutes. It didn’t translate to fantasy success with only 24 and 17 fantasy points, but I have a good feeling that TJ will eventually break through if he’s seeing full playing time like that. Playing a San Antonio team that ranks bottom ten in defensive efficiency to opposing backcourts doesn’t hurt.

Also Consider: Trae Young, De’Anthony Melton

SHOOTING GUARD

Anthony Edwards - Minnesota (vs. Orlando) - DK: $8,100 / FD: $7,100 / Yahoo: $33

Edwards had his first game under 39 fantasy points on Saturday vs. Denver. That’s just a blip on the radar, and “Ant” should be back in full swing with this home draw against Orlando. The Magic rank 26th in defensive efficiency to shooting guards, and this is an excellent matchup for Edwards to do his thing. Play him with confidence through all formats.

Also Consider: Reggie Jackson, Seth Curry

SMALL FORWARD

Tobias Harris - Philadelphia (vs. Portland) - DK: $9,100 / FD: $7,400 / Yahoo: $31

Ben Simmons is still out, and now Joel Embiid is sidelined for tonight’s game. That propels Harris into extremely heavy usage for the Sixers. The matchup against Portland looks nice too, as the Blazers rank 23rd in defensive efficiency to frontcourts and top ten in pace. The price is very attractive on FanDuel and Yahoo.

Also Consider: Desmond Bane, OG Anunoby

POWER FORWARD

Mo Bamba - Orlando (at Minnesota) - DK: $7,100 / FD: $6,600 / Yahoo: $28

Bamba had a tough time on Saturday at Detroit, but that shouldn’t sway your opinion of him. He’s still a legitimate fantasy asset who averaged 42 FPPG in two games prior to that most recent contest. Tonight’s matchup at Minnesota looks like a spot for Bamba to rekindle that upside. The Wolves rank dead last in defensive efficiency to centers and 28th in rebound rate.

Also Consider: Domantas Sabonis, Jaren Jackson

CENTER

Andre Drummond - Philadelphia (vs. Portland) - DK: $4,400 / FD: $5,400 / Yahoo: $16

Drummond will be extremely popular tonight while filling in for Embiid. Despite that, I’m not sure you can avoid him, even in large-field tournaments. Drummond has been very efficient this season with a 23 FPPG average alongside about 13-15 minutes of action per contest. There’s a good chance he’ll see double the playing time tonight, which kicks down the door for fantasy upside.

Also Consider: Jakob Poeltl

POTENTIAL BARGAINS

Tyrese Maxey (PG - PHI) is another Philadelphia player who should see added responsibilities with Embiid out. Maxey is still cheap on all DFS sites, and he has flexed 35+ FP upside several times this season.

Dennis Schroder (SG - BOS) seems to be coming to life for the Celtics. His price is still relaxed due to one poor showing against Toronto, but Schroder is averaging 35 FPPG if we get rid of that outlier. That’s a strong floor for his mid-range salary.

Aaron Gordon (PF - DEN) seems to be turning things up. He’s still underpriced due to a slow start to the season, but Gordon will find plenty of opportunities with full starter minutes for the Nuggets. That has manifested 32+ fantasy points in two of his last three, making “AG” a cheap filler worth considering.
