Orioles placed 2B/3B Jordan Westburg on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 27, with a left hamstring strain.
Not great. Westburg winds up hitting the shelf after an MRI on Monday revealed a strain. No word yet on how much time he’s going to miss, but fantasy managers should anticipate a multi-week absence, even if it’s on the milder side. The 26-year-old infielder was just starting to settle into a groove at the plate, hitting .310 (9-for-29) with one homer and two RBI over his last seven games. It’ll be veteran Ramón Urías taking over at the hot corner in his absence.

Alek Thomas went 3-for-3 with a home run, four runs scored, a walk, and a steal in the Diamondbacks’ 10-3 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.
Thomas drew a walk in the third and scored Arizona’s first run on a triple by Corbin Carroll. He then singled and scored in the fifth and sixth innings while collecting a steal before slugging a solo homer to lead off the eighth. The 25-year-old outfielder is hitting .273/.315/.395 with three homers, 21 runs scored, 19 RBI, and four steals across 185 plate appearances.
Fantasy expectations for Red Sox's Anthony
Primed to hit in the middle of Boston's lineup, top prospect Roman Anthony appears set to deliver raw power and a selective approach for the Red Sox and fantasy managers moving forward.

Gabriel Moreno went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer against the Mariners on Tuesday.
Moreno’s only hit of the game brought three runs in as he took Trent Thornton deep in the sixth inning. It was the fifth home run of the season for Moreno, tying his total from last season in half the plate appearances. The 25-year-old backstop has hit the ball hard with more consistency this year, significantly raising his hard-hit rate. Moreno is slashing .277/.333/.428 with the five homers, 28 runs scored, and 20 RBI across 180 plate appearances.
  • ARI Left Fielder #12
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored against the Mariners on Tuesday.
Gurriel took Logan Evans deep for a solo homer in the fourth inning, then singled to lead off the sixth before stealing second and scoring on a home run by Gabriel Moreno. The 31-year-old outfielder is having another solid all-around season in Arizona, hitting .258/.304/.446 with ten homers, 37 RBI, and four steals across 263 plate appearances.
  • SEA 1st Baseman #23
Rowdy Tellez went 2-for-5 with a solo homer against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Tellez had singled to lead off the second inning, then later took Brandon Pfaadt deep for a solo homer in the sixth, going back-to-back with Randy Arozarena to knock Pfaadt from the game. The 30-year-old slugger is hitting .208/.253/.429 with ten homers and 26 RBI across 166 plate appearances.
  • SEA Left Fielder #56
Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Arozarena’s only hit of the game put the Mariners on the board for their first run in the sixth as he led off the inning with a solo homer off Brandon Pfaadt. The 30-year-old outfielder has been hot the dish with three straight multi-hit games before Tuesday’s contest. He’s batting .232/.346/.401 with eight homers, 26 runs scored, 27 RBI, and 11 steals across 280 plate appearances.
  • ARI Starting Pitcher #32
Brandon Pfaadt allowed two runs with four strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.
Had had worked around traffic throughout the game but managed to hold the Mariners scoreless through five innings until Randy Arozarena and Rowdy Tellez took him deep with back-to-back solo homers in the sixth. That would be it for Pfaadt, who scattered nine hits and one walk while striking out four. The 26-year-old right-hander will take a 5.50 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and a 55/18 K/BB ratio across 70 1/3 innings into a start against the Blue Jays in Toronto next Tuesday.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #73
Logan Evans allowed four runs with five strikeouts over five innings in a loss against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Evans got through two relatively quiet innings before two walks, a triple, and a sacrifice fly brought two runs in to score for the Diamondbacks in the third. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. then took him deep for a solo homer in the fourth. Three hits brought a fourth run in to score in the fifth before Evans’ day was done. He struck out five. The 24-year-old right-hander ends the outing with 3.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and a 30/12 K/BB ratio across 40 innings. Evans may not stick around in the rotation with Logan Gilbert’s imminent return.
  • SD 3rd Baseman #13
Manny Machado went 3-for-5 with a run scored and five RBI to lead the Padres to an 11-1 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Machado has been a hits machine all season. That continued Tuesday with another muli-hit effort, his fifth in the last eight games. He drove in a run with a single in the third and scored on a triple by Jackson Merrill. Another hit in the fifth and a groundout in the sixth brought two more runs in before driving in two on his third hit in the seventh. The 32-year-old third baseman is slashing .325/.386/.518 with ten homers, 46 runs scored, 39 RBI, and eight steals across 277 plate appearances.
  • SD 2nd Baseman #4
Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, four runs scored, and one RBI against the Dodgers on Friday.
Arraez had been relatively quiet at the dish with just one multi-hit game this month before Tuesday’s offensive explosion against the Dodgers. He collected three hits, two doubles, and scored a run all four times he reached base. The 28-year-old first baseman is now slashing .281/.314/.405 with three homers, 31 runs scored, and 25 RBI across 262 plate appearances.
  • SD Catcher #15
Martin Maldonado went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Maldonado, not known for his ability at the plate, got in on the fun as the Padres put 11 runs up on the Dodgers. He took Matt Sauer deep for a solo homer to lead off the sixth inning, then singled and scored in the seventh. The 38-year-old veteran catcher is hitting .189/.223/.311 with three homers and six RBI across 97 plate appearances.
