Tyler Anderson allowed six runs with four strikeouts over five innings in a loss against the Orioles on Saturday.
A double, walk, and a groundout brought a run in to score for the Orioles in the first inning against Anderson. Baltimore brought two more runs home in the third inning on three singles. After walking a batter to lead off the fifth, Cedric Mullins and Gary Sánchez would go back-to-back with home runs, knocking Anderson from the game. The 35-year-old left-hander will take a 4.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and a 61/29 K/BB ratio across 75 innings into a start against the Yankees in New York on Thursday.
