  • ATL Relief Pitcher #46

Craig Kimbrel has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Kimbrel made three appearances for Double-A Columbus, not allowing any hits while striking out six and walking one in 3 1/3 innings. If he continues to pitch well in Triple-A, he could join the Braves bullpen soon; although, he’s unlikely to have much fantasy value aside from leagues that count holds as a stat.
  • DET Relief Pitcher #55

Tigers optioned RHP Alex Lange to Triple-A Toledo.
Lange returns to the minors after making his long-awaited return to the big leagues earlier this week. The 29-year-old righty missed the opening four-plus months of the season due to lat issues.
Williams and Garcia called up to Rays and Red Sox
James Schiano previews the call ups of Carson Williams for the Tampa Rays and Jhostynxon Garcia for the Boston Red Sox.
  • DET Shortstop #32
Tigers designated INF/OF Ryan Kreidler for assignment.
Kreidler has been booted from Detroit’s 40-man roster to make room for rookie southpaw Drew Sommers. He got into 17 games earlier this season, finishing 4-for-38 at the plate.
  • NYM Left Fielder #1
Jeff McNeil (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Friday’s series opener against Atlanta.
McNeil came off the bench to pinch-hit during Thursday’s series finale against the Nationals, but he’s going to get some additional time off to rest a lingering shoulder issue that’s been bothering him for the past week. It’ll be Brett Baty sliding over to cover second base with Mark Vientos handling the hot corner for the third straight contest.
  • NYM Left Fielder #9
Brandon Nimmo (neck) is absent from the lineup for Friday’s series opener against Atlanta.
Nimmo will sit out his second straight game after making an early exit from Wednesday’s contest with neck stiffness, which has been a recurring problem for him the past couple years. It’ll be Tyrone Taylor in left field on Friday night for the second straight game.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #57
Blue Jays activated RHP Shane Bieber from the 60-day injured list.
It’s time. Bieber makes his long-awaited return from last year’s Tommy John surgery on Friday night against the Marlins at loanDepot park. The 30-year-old former fantasy ace gets a tasty matchup right out of the gate and should be rostered in all fantasy formats based on how he looked during his extended minor league rehab assignment. There shouldn’t be a governor on his workload with Toronto chasing a playoff berth over the final five weeks of the season.
  • NYY Right Fielder #27
Giancarlo Stanton is on the bench for Friday’s showdown against the division-rival Red Sox.
Stanton remains stapled to New York’s bench for the sixth time in the last eight games with Aaron Judge limited to DH due to an elbow issue. It’ll be Cody Bellinger and Jasson Domínguez in the outfield corners with Trent Grisham patrolling center field. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but it’s likely the correct approach here by the Yankees not to push Stanton too much from a physical standpoint by having him play right field on an everyday basis.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #51
Orioles selected the contract of RHP Matt Bowman from Triple-A Norfolk.
Bowman provides the Orioles with some additional relief depth with rookie starter Brandon Young hitting the injured list with a hamstring strain. The well-traveled 34-year-old registered an underwhelming 5.79 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and a 17/6 K/BB ratio over 23 1/3 innings (19 appearances) earlier this season at the highest level.
  • BAL Starting Pitcher #63
Orioles placed RHP Brandon Young on the 15-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.
Young becomes the 28th player to hit the injured list for the Orioles this season. The 27-year-old rookie hits the shelf after getting crushed for seven runs over 5 1/3 innings on Thursday in a loss to the Astros. No word yet on the severity, but he could wind up missing the final five weeks of the season unless it’s on the lower end of the spectrum.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #74
Orioles transferred RHP Félix Bautista to the 60-day injured list.
The procedural move frees up a spot on Baltimore’s 40-man roster. Bautista underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and labrum earlier this week and will likely miss the entire 2026 season.
  • CWS Catcher #26
White Sox recalled C Korey Lee from Triple-A Charlotte.
The White Sox are going to roll with three catchers for now with Lee backing up rookies Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero. The 27-year-old backstop got into 14 games earlier this season for Chicago. He’s spent the last two months back in the minors after Teel was promoted to the big leagues.
