Kyle Bradish (elbow) threw a bullpen Saturday.
This was Bradish’s first bullpen as he recovers from Tommy John surgery he underwent last June. The hope is that Bradish can return to the Baltimore rotation at some point in the middle of the 2025 campaign.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #35

Mets signed RHP Zach Pop to a one-year contract.
Pop augments New York’s bullpen depth ahead of Saturday’s showdown against the Yankees after struggling in four relief outings earlier this season for the Mariners. He’s made 162 appearances in the big leagues dating back to 2021. The 28-year-old righty represents a reclamation project for the Mets’ pitching development engine at this stage of his career.
Hold Muncy if placed on injured list
Eric Samulski advises fantasy managers to "hold" Max Muncy if placed on the injured list, who has produced in a big way since the beginning of May, and discusses the outlook for Dodgers' call-up Esteury Ruiz.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #44
Mets optioned RHP Austin Warren to Triple-A Syracuse.
Warren has been booted from New York’s bullpen to make room for free agent import Zach Pop ahead of Saturday’s game against the Yankees. The 29-year-old righty has looked sharp in three relief outings for the Mets and figures to return at some point in the coming weeks.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #53
Mets designated RHP Tyler Zuber for assignment.
Zuber made one relief appearance earlier this season for the Mets before being sent back to Triple-A Syracuse. The 30-year-old righty figures to clear waivers and has the ability to elect free agency.
  • NYY Catcher #22
Ben Rice is at DH and batting cleanup on Saturday against the Mets.
Rice gets the nod over veteran Giancarlo Stanton to face Mets righty Frankie Montas on Saturday afternoon at Citi Field. The 26-year-old slugger made his 11th appearance at catcher earlier this week, which gives him eligibility there in some formats, which is a significant boost to his fantasy appeal moving forward.
  • NYY Center Fielder #24
Jasson Domínguez is in left field and batting sixth for Saturday’s Subway Series contest against the Mets.
Trent Grisham is in the leadoff spot on Saturday afternoon, but Domínguez figures to continue getting chances atop New York’s lineup after going 2-for-4 with two homers and a stolen base out of the top spot during Friday’s contest at Citi Field. The 22-year-old former top prospect has legitimately been one of the hottest hitters in baseball recently, hitting .400 (12-for-30) with two homers, six RBI and two steals over his last seven games.
  • ARI Center Fielder #4
Ketel Marte is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against eh Royals.
It appears to be a routine off day for Marte, who has homered in two of his last three games, and hasn’t had a break since June 22. It’ll be Blaze Alexander taking over at the keystone on Saturday afternoon in his place. The 31-year-old second baseman was named a starter for the National League in the upcoming All-Star Game and will make his third career appearance in the Midsummer Classic.
  • ATL Left Fielder #20
Marcell Ozuna has been dropped to sixth in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Orioles.
Ozuna, who has been playing through a hip tear throughout most of this season, has been mired in an extended tailspin at the dish, hitting .177 (20-for-113) with only two homers in his last 30 games. He’s been dropped to the lower portion of Atlanta’s lineup for the second straight game with Jurickson Profar getting looks in the cleanup spot.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #21
Hunter Greene (groin) will make a minor league rehab start on Tuesday for Triple-A Louisville.
Greene completed a simulated game earlier this week without any issues as he ramps up his throwing program. The hard-throwing 25-year-old fantasy ace hit the shelf back in early June with a groin strain and should be ready to rejoin Cincinnati’s rotation right around the All-Star break later this month. He’ll provide a massive lift for fantasy managers over the final two-plus months of the season if he can avoid the injured list and return to his early-season form.
  • WSH Relief Pitcher #71
Nationals activated RHP Mason Thompson from the 60-day injured list.
Thompson is finally ready to return to Washington’s relief corps after missing the last year and a half recovering from Tommy John surgery. The 27-year-old righty figures to operate in low-leverage middle relief situations for the Nationals.
  • WSH Relief Pitcher #66
Nationals optioned RHP Zach Brzykcy to Triple-A Rochester.
Brzykcy returns to the minors with Mason Thompson coming off the injured list to rejoin Washington’s relief mix. The 25-year-old righty has struggled to a bloated 7.40 ERA across 20 2/3 innings (23 appearances) this season at the big-league level.
