Gurriel took Logan Evans deep for a solo homer in the fourth inning, then singled to lead off the sixth before stealing second and scoring on a home run by Gabriel Moreno. The 31-year-old outfielder is having another solid all-around season in Arizona, hitting .258/.304/.446 with ten homers, 37 RBI, and four steals across 263 plate appearances.

Tellez had singled to lead off the second inning, then later took Brandon Pfaadt deep for a solo homer in the sixth, going back-to-back with Randy Arozarena to knock Pfaadt from the game. The 30-year-old slugger is hitting .208/.253/.429 with ten homers and 26 RBI across 166 plate appearances.

Arozarena’s only hit of the game put the Mariners on the board for their first run in the sixth as he led off the inning with a solo homer off Brandon Pfaadt. The 30-year-old outfielder has been hot the dish with three straight multi-hit games before Tuesday’s contest. He’s batting .232/.346/.401 with eight homers, 26 runs scored, 27 RBI, and 11 steals across 280 plate appearances.

Had had worked around traffic throughout the game but managed to hold the Mariners scoreless through five innings until Randy Arozarena and Rowdy Tellez took him deep with back-to-back solo homers in the sixth. That would be it for Pfaadt, who scattered nine hits and one walk while striking out four. The 26-year-old right-hander will take a 5.50 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and a 55/18 K/BB ratio across 70 1/3 innings into a start against the Blue Jays in Toronto next Tuesday.

Machado has been a hits machine all season. That continued Tuesday with another muli-hit effort, his fifth in the last eight games. He drove in a run with a single in the third and scored on a triple by Jackson Merrill. Another hit in the fifth and a groundout in the sixth brought two more runs in before driving in two on his third hit in the seventh. The 32-year-old third baseman is slashing .325/.386/.518 with ten homers, 46 runs scored, 39 RBI, and eight steals across 277 plate appearances.

Arraez had been relatively quiet at the dish with just one multi-hit game this month before Tuesday’s offensive explosion against the Dodgers. He collected three hits, two doubles, and scored a run all four times he reached base. The 28-year-old first baseman is now slashing .281/.314/.405 with three homers, 31 runs scored, and 25 RBI across 262 plate appearances.

Maldonado, not known for his ability at the plate, got in on the fun as the Padres put 11 runs up on the Dodgers. He took Matt Sauer deep for a solo homer to lead off the sixth inning, then singled and scored in the seventh. The 38-year-old veteran catcher is hitting .189/.223/.311 with three homers and six RBI across 97 plate appearances.
