Twins RHP prospect Andrew Morris threw five shutout innings on Wednesday for Triple-A St. Paul, striking out three and walking two.
The 23-year-old has thrown 10 shutout innings to start the season, allowing nine hits while striking out seven and walking three. Morris is likely behind both Zebby Matthews and David Festa in the pecking order for a call-up, but he could factor into the Twins’ rotation at some point this season.

Cardinals optioned RHP Chris Roycroft to Triple-A Memphis.
Tigers' Jobe to undergo Tommy John surgery
Tigers rookie starting pitcher Jackson Jobe is set to undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, and James Schiano discusses how it will impact Detroit's starting rotation and who could fill in for Jobe.
  • STL Left Fielder #13
Cardinals designated OF Ryan Vilade for assignment.
  • STL Center Fielder #22
Cardinals recalled OF Michael Siani from Triple-A Memphis.
Siani is up to provide the Cardinals with some outfield depth. The 25-year-old provides speed and defense for the St. Louis lineup, but doesn’t provide fantasy upside in turn.
  • STL Relief Pitcher
Cardinals selected the contract of RHP Andre Granillo from Triple-A Memphis.
Granillo will have a chance to make his MLB debut. The right-hander has been excellent with a 46/8 K/BB ratio and 1.82 ERA in Memphis, and it’s feasible that he could work his way into a high-leverage role if he has success in his first state of MLB action.
  • SEA Center Fielder #20
Luke Raley (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.
Raley has been out since the end of April with his oblique strain. The 30-year-old will likely need a handful of games in Triple-A, and then he should return to a regular role against right-handed pitching with the Mariners in the middle of June.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #26
Austin Gomber (shoulder) will come off the 60-day injured list to start Sunday against Atlanta.
Gomber will make his season debut after missing the first two-plus months of the season with his shoulder issue. The 31-year-old has been effective at times, but his inability to miss bats while playing for a team that has shown an inability to be competent makes him a hard pass in fantasy leagues.
  • MIL Starting Pitcher #53
Brewers transferred Brandon Woodruff from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.
Woodruff’s transfer to the 60-day list clears a spot on the 40-man roster, and the Brewers used it to select the contract of Jacob Misiorowski for his MLB debut Thursday. The 32-year-old was removed from his rehab assignment last week, and doesn’t have a timetable for a return.
  • MIL Relief Pitcher #50
Brewers optioned RHP Easton McGee to Triple-A Nashville.
McGee gets the demotion just two days after the promotion to make room for Jacob Misiorowski. McGee could be back as a bullpen option at some point this summer.
  • MIL Starting Pitcher #93
Brewers selected the contract of RHP Jacob Misiorowski from Triple-A Nashville.
Misiorowski is set to make his MLB debut against the Cardinals on Thursday. The 23-year-old will occasionally deal with command issues, but also possesses some of the best swing-and-miss stuff in the minors. There’s some risk in using Misiorowski in fantasy leagues, but that risk carries plenty of reward with it.
  • COL Relief Pitcher #45
Rockies optioned LHP Carson Palmquist to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Palmquist forged a 7.77 ERA and 1.82 WHIP over his 22 innings as a member of the rotation. The 24-year-old will likely make starts for Colorado before the 2025 season comes to a close, but it’d be foolish to consider him in any sort of fantasy league you can imagine in your head.
