The 98 mph fly ball just cleared the wall in right field for Edwards’ first home run of the season and the second of his career. The 25-year-old second baseman is hitting .290/.355/.347 with 39 runs scored, 24 RBI, and 16 steals across 352 plate appearances.

  • MIA Center Fielder #3
Derek Hill went 2-for-4 with two RBI against the Orioles on Saturday.
Hill got the start in center field for the Marlins with a left-hander on the mound on Saturday. He knocked a base hit to drive in the first run of the game in the seventh inning, then drove in one more run with a single in the ninth. The 29-year-old outfielder is hitting .213/.278/.326 with two homers, 13 runs scored, and six steals across 99 plate appearances.
  • MIA Relief Pitcher #26
Jansen Junk tossed seven scoreless innings with two strikeouts in a win over the Orioles on Saturday.
Junk did not allow an earned run to score for the second straight outing, tossing seven shutout frames against the Orioles on Saturday. He scattered five hits and did not walk a batter while collecting two strikeouts. The 29-year-old right-hander ends the first half with a 2.68 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and a 38/4 K/BB ratio across 50 1/3 innings.
  • BAL Starting Pitcher #28
Trevor Rogers allowed one run with eight strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings in a loss against the Marlins on Saturday.
Rogers put together one of his best starts of the season on Saturday against he former team. He worked around an error in the first inning, then scattered two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters before his day was done with two outs in the seventh inning at 99 pitches. He’d leave with a runner on, who’d eventually come in to score. The 27-year-old left-hander closes the first half with a 1.53 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and a 32/10 K/BB ratio across 35 1/3 innings.
  • SEA Left Fielder #56
Randy Arozarena went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, a steal and four runs scored as the Mariners walloped the Tigers 15-7 on Saturday.
It’s the first time in 734 career games that Arozarena, who will go to his second All-Star Game as a replacement for teammate Julio Rodríguez, has scored four times. He has eight homers in his last 12 games, raising his OPS from .751 to .808.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #68
George Kirby surrendered four runs in five innings and struck out six in a victory over the Tigers on Saturday.
The big blow was a three-run homer from Riley Greene, who got ahold of a splitter tailing away from him and drove it out to the opposite field. It was a very impressive feat, but it was also a shot that would have been a homer in only six ballparks. So, Kirby could have been a little more fortunate in this one. The homer was the first he’s allowed in four starts. The victory, only the second of his career in which he’s allowed more than three runs, makes him 4-4 with a 4.50 ERA. He’ll likely face the Astros in the first series after the break.
  • DET Starting Pitcher #12
All-Star Casey Mize was tagged for six runs in three innings by the Mariners in a loss Saturday.
Five of the runs scored in the third, with the last three coming on Luke Raley’s homer. Mize got one out afterwards to end the inning, but he didn’t come back out for the fourth. It was both his shortest start of the year and his first with more than four runs surrendered. He closes out a breakthrough first half 9-3 with a 3.15 ERA.
  • SEA Center Fielder #44
Julio Rodríguez went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double, a steal and three runs scored Saturday versus the Tigers.
Rodríguez’s homer was hit 427 feet off Keider Montero. That left his bat at 111.6 mph, while the double checked in at 113.7 mph. Rodríguez now has 13 homers and 16 steals this season.
  • SEA Right Fielder #8
Dominic Canzone went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI against the Tigers on Saturday.
Canzone has seven hits the last two days and is now hitting .333/.355/.589 with six homers in 93 plate appearances. It’s tough projecting him for lasting fantasy value, given that he’s a platoon player who doesn’t steal bases and plays in a notoriously difficult ballpark for offense. Still, he’s making a lot of hard contact while striking out only 17% of the time since his callup.
  • LAD Right Fielder #23
Michael Conforto went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the Dodgers’ 2-1 win over the Giants on Saturday.
A day after hitting a home run in San Francisco, Conforto came up big against the Giants, knocking three base hits on the day and scoring both runs for the Dodgers in their tight 2-1 victory. The 32-year-old outfielder is slashing .185/.299/.323 with eight homers, 36 runs scored, and 23 RBI over 304 plate appearances.
