Red Sox acquired OF Yophery Rodriguez from the Brewers for RHP Quinn Priester.
This is quite a swing for the Red Sox, who are also getting a Competitive Balance Round A draft pick and a player to be named later or cash considerations. Rodriguez was the seventh-ranked prospect in the Brewers’ organization and hit .250/.343/.383 with seven home runs and seven steals in 484 plate appearances as one of the youngest players in A-ball last year. He was the highest-paid player in Milwaukee’s international signing class in 2023 and possesses elite athleticism. He remains incredibly young and far from the big leagues, so there is a lot of growth that needs to happen here, but this upside is sky high.

Willson Contreras went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored against the Dodgers on Sunday.
Fantasy impact of Mets SS Lindor breaking his toe
James Schiano shares the latest news regarding star shortstop Francisco Lindor, who is day-to-day after breaking his toe, also explaining how the injury will affect Luisangel Acuña, Ronny Mauricio and fantasy managers.
  • LAD 3rd Baseman #13
Max Muncy went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored against the Cardinals on Sunday.
Muncy hit .176 with one home run and seven RBI in his first 34 games of the season. At 34-years-old and with a power-heavy profile, it was fair to wonder if this was the end of the line for the Dodgers’ third baseman. Muncy has bounced back with a .306 average, eight home runs and 28 RBI in his last 27 games. He has 16 strikeouts and 18 walks in his most recent stretch compared to 41 strikeouts and 19 walks in his first 34 games. Muncy looks like a new man at the plate and should be rostered in all formats going forward.
  • LAD Right Fielder #50
Mookie Betts went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Cardinals on Sunday.
Betts’ home run was his ninth of the season. The 32-year-old shortstop returned earlier this week after dealing with a toe injury. Betts’ home run was a solo shot off left-handed reliever John King in the seventh inning. He’s hitting .274 with a .782 OPS and 33 RBI on the year.
  • STL Starting Pitcher #36
Michael McGreevy allowed four runs in six innings and took the loss against the Dodgers on Sunday.
McGreevy gave up eight hits, walked none and struck out five. The 24-year-old right-hander had a tough draw against the Dodgers in his first MLB start this year. The plan was to give McGreevy an extended look in the rotation. Right now his value is limited to NL-Only leagues, but he could have mixed league value if he’s still in the rotation in a few weeks. McGreevy will get another chance against the Brewers on the road next weekend.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #22
Clayton Kershaw allowed one run in five innings and got the win in the Dodgers’ 7-3 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Kershaw gave up six hits, walked none and struck out seven. The 37-year-old left-hander turned in a vintage performance against the Cardinals on Sunday. Kershaw became the all-time leader in games with at least seven strikeouts and zero walks with 65, passing Curt Schilling. He also moved into the top-20 on the all-time strikeout list, passing former teammate Zack Greinke. Kershaw is now just 17 strikeouts away from 3,000. His hall of fame career will continue against the Giants at home next weekend.
  • MIN Shortstop #50
Willi Castro went 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored against the Blue Jays on Sunday.
  • MIN Shortstop #2
