Bryan Woo was victimized by the long ball in a no-decision against the Giants on Sunday, surrendering four runs on five hits over his six innings of work.
The right-hander racked up six strikeouts on the afternoon while issuing only one free pass. All of the damage done against him came via in the fourth inning as Heliot Ramos delivered an RBI single and Mike Yastrzemski followed with a three-run blast. Aside from that one mistake to Yastrzemski, Woo pitched very well here. He got 11 whiffs on 89 pitches on the day — seven on his fastball — while registering a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll carry a 3.75 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and an 11/3 K/BB ratio (12 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Rangers.

Colt Keith is at DH and batting sixth on Sunday against the Cubs.
Keith has ostensibly split time with Kerry Carpenter at DH since center fielder Parker Meadows returned from the injured list earlier this week. The 23-year-old is expected to see action at the hot corner in the near future as Detroit tries to find creative ways to keep his bat in the lineup without moving Spencer Torkelson off the cold corner.
Fantasy impact of Mets SS Lindor breaking his toe
James Schiano shares the latest news regarding star shortstop Francisco Lindor, who is day-to-day after breaking his toe, also explaining how the injury will affect Luisangel Acuña, Ronny Mauricio and fantasy managers.
  • CLE Right Fielder #30
Guardians recalled OF Johnathan Rodríguez from Triple-A Columbus.
Rodríguez was up briefly earlier this season when he got into four games for Cleveland. He returns to the big leagues to take Jhonkensy Noel’s spot on the bench after posting a .902 OPS with seven homers over 46 games this season at the Triple-A level.
  • CLE Right Fielder #43
Guardians optioned OF Jhonkensy Noel to Triple-A Columbus.
Noel has been relegated bench role this season and has struggled mightily when given opportunities, hitting .146/.168/.223 with two homers and nine RBI in 107 plate appearances over 46 games. The 23-year-old slugger will attempt to re-discover his form while playing everyday at the Triple-A level. He’s a non-factor for fantasy purposes at the moment, but does boast significant power upside, if he ever fully puts it together.
  • MIA Catcher #50
Agustín Ramírez is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Rays.
Ramírez gets a rare break after making 18 consecutive starts between catcher and DH over the last three weeks since May 18. The 23-year-old highly-touted backstop went 0-for-5 during Saturday’s extra-inning affair, but is still hitting .245 with eight homers, 19 RBI and one steal through 39 games in his rookie campaign.
  • MIA Left Fielder #28
Kyle Stowers (hand) remains out of the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Rays.
Stowers will miss his fourth straight contest as he continues to deal with a lingering hand issue. It’ll be rookie Javier Sanoja getting a chance in left field on Sunday afternoon in his place.
  • CHC Starting Pitcher #18
Shota Imanaga (hamstring) will make a minor league rehab appearance on Monday in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League.
Imanage threw a 37-pitch bullpen session on Saturday without any issues and will progress to facing minor league hitters early next week as he starts building back up his pitch count and stamina. The 31-year-old southpaw, who has been out since early May with a left hamstring strain, will require a handful of minor league rehab starts before returning to Chicago’s rotation, but he figures to be ready at some point in late June.
  • CHC Relief Pitcher #37
Porter Hodge (oblique, hip) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Saturday.
Hodge figures to return to Chicago’s high-leverage mix at some point before the end of June. He was making progress in his return from an oblique strain before suffering a hip impingement that delayed his throwing progression.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #54
Twins activated LHP Danny Coulombe from the 15-day injured list.
Coulombe returns to Minnesota’s high-leverage mix after missing exactly three weeks with a forearm strain. The 35-year-old southpaw has been outstanding this season, reeling off 16 2/3 consecutive scoreless frames over 19 appearances.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #52
Twins placed RHP Zebby Matthews on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain.
Not great. Matthews heads to the injured list after a strong five-inning outing earlier this week against the Athletics. He was slated to take the ball for Tuesday’s series opener against the Rangers. The 25-year-old top pitching prospect has struggled to an inflated 5.21 ERA across 19 innings (four starts) since being promoted back in mid-May. However, a quick glance under the hood reveals a strong 3.07 FIP and 25/8 K/BB ratio. No word yet on how much time Matthews will miss, but shoulder issues can be complicated matters. Fantasy managers should anticipate a multi-week absence, even in a best-case scenario.
  • TB Starting Pitcher #61
Rays recalled LHP Ian Seymour from Triple-A Durham.
Seymour earns his first promotion to the big leagues after compiling a strong 2.95 ERA and 84/15 K/BB ratio across 61 innings (12 appearances, 11 starts) this season for Triple-A Durham. The 26-year-old lefty was a second-round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft and has flown a bit under-the-radar for fantasy purposes over the last few years. He’s an interesting arm, but he’s unlikely to generate significant fantasy value operating in long relief. He’ll be worth monitoring closely in deeper mixed leagues on the chance he’s able to sneak into Tampa Bay’s rotation.
