White Sox designated OF Dominic Fletcher for assignment.
At one point, Fletcher was through to be a contender to start in the outfield for the White Sox, but he lost out to veterans like Travis Jankowski and Austin Slater.

Dodgers’ skipper Dave Roberts relayed to reporters on Sunday that the imaging on the injured foot for Teoscar Hernandez came back clean.
The 32-year-old slugger fouled a ball off of his foot during Saturday’s game against the Astros. Fortunately, he isn’t dealing with any fractures, though he is still dealing with a bit of soreness in the foot. He should be considered day-to-day.
Hold Muncy if placed on injured list
Eric Samulski advises fantasy managers to "hold" Max Muncy if placed on the injured list, who has produced in a big way since the beginning of May, and discusses the outlook for Dodgers' call-up Esteury Ruiz.
  • LAD 2nd Baseman #25
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Sunday that Tommy Edman is dealing with a hairline fracture in his right pinkie toe.
The encouraging news is that the club does not expect Edman to require a trip to the injured list, though he may miss a few more games while dealing with the injury. Expect Hyeseong Kim to continue to fill in for him at second base until he’s ready to return.
  • SD Starting Pitcher #11
Yu Darvish (elbow) will rejoin the Padres’ starting rotation on Monday evening against the Diamondbacks.
The 38-year-old right-hander has yet to pitch for the Padres this season due to inflammation in his right elbow, though he has looked sharp in recent bullpen sessions and simulated games. It’s unclear if he’ll face any sort of workload limitations in that first start, but fantasy managers would probably be better served taking a wait-and-see approach rather than throwing him right to the wolves.
  • HOU Center Fielder #6
Jake Meyers was removed from Sunday afternoon’s battle against the Dodgers due to a calf injury.
Astros’ manager Joe Espada told reporters after the game that the 29-year-old outfielder’s calf tightened up on him during the game and that he was removed out of an abundance of caution. It doesn’t sound like anything that should lead to an extended absence, but fantasy managers should be sure to check his status on Monday before setting lineups for the week.
  • DET Center Fielder #95
The Tigers promoted top prospects Max Clark, Kevin McGonigle and Josue Briceño from High-A West Michigan to Double-A Erie on Sunday.
Clark, the third overall selection from the 2023 draft class, was hitting .285/.430/.427 with seven homers, 47 RBI and 12 stolen bases in his first 68 games at West Michigan. McGonigle was even better there — slashing a blistering .358/.450/.617 with seven homers, 39 RBI and three stolen bases in just 42 contests. Briceño was no slouch himself, slashing .296/.422/.602 with 15 long balls and 57 RBI. The Tigers own the best record in the American League at the moment and their future continues to look exceedingly bright.
  • TB Relief Pitcher #44
Rays signed RHP Peter Strzelecki to a minor league contract.
The 30-year-old hurler was officially released by the Pirates on Sunday and it didn’t take him long to find another opportunity. The Rays will undoubtedly make minor changes to his arsenal and he’ll turn into a key cog in their big league bullpen before the season is through.
  • KC Starting Pitcher #24
Michael Lorenzen pitched two-hit ball for seven innings and struck out seven in the Royals’ 4-0 shutout of the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Lorenzen has one of these outings every two months or so, just to make sure that people don’t forget about him. He came into this one with a 6.88 ERA in his previous seven starts, taking his overall ERA from 3.77 to 4.95. Still, he’ll probably be in some demand later this month if the Royals opt to sell. He’s set to face the Mets next weekend.
  • ARI Starting Pitcher #21
Anthony DeSclafani surrendered four runs in four-plus innings Sunday in a loss to the Royals.
DeSclafani struck out six and walked none. He actually faced the minimum through three before giving up solo homers to Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez in the fourth. He then hit a batter and gave up a single at the beginning of the fifth, and his day was over after that. Both runners came around to score against Jalen Beeks afterwards. This was just a spot start for DeSclafani, so he’ll return to the pen for now. However, he is probably next in line for the D-backs rotation if something opens up.
  • KC 1st Baseman #14
Jac Caglianone struck out twice, popped up and was hit by a pitch Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
Caglianone stole his first base as a major leaguer and scored a run today, but it was another poor showing offensively. He’s 3-for-48 with a double, no runs batted in and two walks in his last 13 games, leaving him at .148/.200/.241 overall through 115 plate appearances. If he doesn’t pick it up in the final two series before the break, the Royals might decide that some additional Triple-A seasoning is needed.
  • ARI Center Fielder #7
Corbin Carroll struck out all four times up against the Royals on Sunday.
Carroll, who had never before had a four-strikeout game, wasn’t the only Diamondback to struggle today, but he was the only one to fan more than once; the rest of the team combined for five strikeouts against Michael Lorenzen and company in the contest. That Carroll rushed back so quickly from the chip fracture in his wrist might have been a mistake, as he’s gone 0-for-9 the last two days.
