Shohei Ohtani homered and walked twice to help the Dodgers to a 6-3 win over the Cubs on Wednesday in the Tokyo Series.
It’s the first homer of the season for Ohtani, and probably not the last. Call it a hunch. This one did have some controversy, as it appeared a fan interfered while making contact with the baseball before it crossed, but after a short replay proved inconclusive and the homer stood. Ohtani made his mark in the two-game series with three hits, three runs and the roundtripper, and he’ll be back in action March 27 against the Tigers.
