White Sox sent OF Corey Julks outright to Triple-A Charlotte.
Julks went unclaimed after being designated for assignment. The 28-year-old outfielder hit just .214/.275/.306 in 2024 for Chicago last year, so it’s not a surprise other clubs didn’t have interest in adding him to their respective 40-man rosters.

Astros and OF Chas McCormick avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.4 million deal.
With the trade of Kyle Tucker, McCormick has a real chance to start in the outfield for the Astros in 2025. The 29-year-old hit just .211/.271/.306 in 94 games in 2024 with five home runs and eight steals. The Astros should be looking for an upgrade, and McCormick should not be counted on in fantasy leagues outside of the deepest formats.
  • CIN Relief Pitcher #50
Reds and LHP Sam Moll avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.0075 million contract.
Moll, 33, spent some time in Triple-A early last season because he was one of the unfortunate few on the Reds with options, and he missed most of the final month with a left shoulder impingement. When he was able to pitch, he had a 3.35 ERA in 37 2/3 innings, putting him right at his career mark of 3.42 to date.
  • HOU Relief Pitcher #52
Astros and RHP Bryan Abreu avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.45 million contract.
Abreu is one of the best non-closer relievers in baseball. Even in a down year in 2024, he posted a 3.10 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 103/32 K/BB ratio in 78 1/3 innings. He will likely continue to be one of the best middle relievers in baseball and will have fantasy value to help with ratios and the chance of stealing wins.
  • LAA Relief Pitcher #65
The Angels and Jose Quijada avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.1 million contract.
Quijada pitched just 19 2/3 innings in 2024 but posted a 3.26 ERA with 24 strikeouts. He also had 17 walks and a 1.50 WHIP and will no longer be the main left-hander in the bullpen with Brock Burke now in town. Still, it’s a value deal for the Angels, even if Quijada has no fantasy value.
  • CIN Relief Pitcher #43
Reds and RHP Alexis Díaz avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $4.5 million contract.
Thanks to the almighty save, Díaz, who was eligible for arbitration for the first time, will earn $1.05 million more this year than Bryan Abreu, a significantly better reliever who is one year ahead of him in service time. Díaz had a 3.99 ERA and 28 saves in 32 chances last season. He’s set to remain the Reds’ closer this season, but his declining velocity and strikeout rate don’t seem to bode well.
  • LAA Center Fielder #16
The Angels and Mickey Moniak avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.8 million contract.
Moniak was unable to build on his strong 2023, slashing .219/.266/.380 with 14 home runs in 124 games. He figures to operate as a bench outfielder for the Angels in 2025 but may be in his final chance to crack regular MLB value.
  • LAA Shortstop #2
Angels and INF Luis Rengio avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $5.8 million contract.
Rengifo was tremendous in 78 games for the Angels in 2024, hitting .300 with six homers and a career-high 24 stolen bases. He battled multiple injuries during the season, and the Angels also seemed intent on keeping him as a part-time player early in the year. However, if the 27-year-old comes into the season healthy, it’s hard to not feel good about his fantasy prospects while hitting near the top of the Angels’ lineup.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #40
Reds and RHP Nick Lodolo avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.975 million contract.
The injuries have been stacking up for Lodolo, and he wound up with a 4.76 ERA in his 21 starts before finishing last season on the IL with a finger strain. He’s still very promising, but he might have to compete for his rotation spot this spring and we don’t have a ton of faith that he’ll remain healthy.
  • CIN Right Fielder #27
Reds and OF Jake Fraley avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.125 million contract.
Fraley hit a career-best .277 last season, but he mustered just five homers in 382 plate appearances and finished a 95 OPS+. The Reds will be looking at him as either their left or right fielder against right-handers.
  • BAL Starting Pitcher #38
The Orioles and Kyle Bradish avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.35 million deal.
Bradish underwent Tommy John surgery in June, so he likely won’t return until July at the soonest this upcoming season. While he likely won’t help many fantasy managers in 2025, Bradish has three more years of arbitration eligibility after this season, so he should be in Baltimore’s rotation at a value cost for years.
