Mariners signed RHP Jesse Hahn to a minor league contract.
Hahn hasn’t appeared in the majors since the 2021 season, but he’ll head to Seattle in the hopes of getting back to the big leagues. The 35-year-old journeyman spent last year with the Dodgers at Triple-A Oklahoma City, posting a respectable 4.54 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 44/33 K/BB ratio across 41 2/3 innings (35 appearances). He’s made 82 appearances (50 starts) in the majors between the Padres, Athletics and Royals dating back to 2014.

Henry Davis doubled in the seventh and had a sac fly in the eighth as the Pirates topped the Blue Jays 5-2 on Monday.
Davis scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch after reaching on the double in the seventh and then added some insurance later. With Joey Bart in the midst of a nice run, the Pirates are finally getting some production from a catcher spot they figured would be one of their strengths this year. Davis is hitting just .172/.248/.286 in 210 plate appearances, and his future as a big leaguer should be in serious doubt at this point.
Wheeler placed on IL with blood clot in shoulder
With Zack Wheeler headed to the IL because of a blood clot in his shoulder, James Schiano expects an extended absence while Philadelphia loses a vital part of its rotation.
  • PIT Starting Pitcher #30
Paul Skenes allowed two runs over six innings and struck out eight Blue Jays in Monday’s no-decision.
The Pirates pulled this one out after Skenes left a 2-2 game and improved to 13-13 in their ace’s starts this season. Skenes himself remained 7-9 with a 2.16 ERA. He’s allowed two runs or fewer in 21 of his 26 starts, and he should make it 22 in a home start against the Rockies on Sunday.
  • PIT Relief Pitcher #60
Dennis Santana worked a hitless ninth with a three-run lead for his eighth save Monday against the Blue Jays.
Santana plunked Ernie Clement, but he retired the other three batters he faced. He has two saves and one win this month since taking over the closer’s role for the traded David Bednar.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #34
Kevin Gausman yielded two runs in five innings Monday in a no-decision against the Pirates.
Gausman was matched up against Paul Skenes tonight, so there should be no complaining about modest run support after this one. However, in general, it seems like the offense is doing a lot more for Jays’ other pitchers than it is for Gausman, who is 8-9 with a 3.78 ERA. The last time he allowed as many as two runs and won was May 9. Gausman will make his next start Sunday versus the Marlins.
  • PIT Center Fielder #22
Andrew McCutchen went 0-for-3 with a walk on Monday and is 1-for-20 in his last eight appearances.
McCutchen has walked eight times during the span, so that’s something. Still, tonight’s 0-for dropped his OPS to .696, which is the lowest he’s been since Apr. 20. McCutchen recently indicated that he’d like to continue his career in 2026, though he made it sound like he’d prefer to play for a contender. It’s probably going to take a strong finish to make him attractive to winning clubs at age 39.
  • CWS Shortstop #12
Colson Montgomery was removed from Monday’s contest against Atlanta with left side soreness.
The hope here for the White Sox, and fantasy managers, is that Montgomery isn’t dealing with an oblique issue. The 23-year-old rookie shortstop finished 0-for-3 with a walk. He’s been ice cold of late, batting .148 (4-for-27) with one homer over his last seven games. He’ll undergo further evaluation and testing to determine the extent of the issue. There should be an update ahead of Tuesday’s game.
  • TOR 1st Baseman #27
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring on Monday night.
Guerrero will undergo precautionary imaging to rule out anything serious after being removed from Monday’s series opener against the Pirates with left hamstring tightness. The 26-year-old suffered the injury while making a phenomenal defensive play at the cold corner when he went into a full split to dig out a low throw. There should be a definitive update on his status ahead of Tuesday’s showdown. There’s no reason for fantasy managers to panic, but it’s a situation worth monitoring closely.
  • STL Relief Pitcher #59
JoJo Romero pitched a perfect eighth with a two-run lead for a hold Monday against the Marlins.
Riley O’Brien likely would have closed tonight, but the Cardinals added three runs to make it a five-run game in the ninth and then used Jorge Alcala to finish it up.
  • PHI 1st Baseman #3
Bryce Harper went 3-for-6 with two homers and three RBI on Monday, propelling the Phillies to a 12-6 victory over the Mariners.
Harper set the tone in this one by launching nearly 900 combined feet of homers. The 32-year-old generational talent’s sixth-inning blast traveled 440 feet and carried a stratospheric 112.9 mph exit velocity, pushing him over the 20-homer plateau for the 11th season dating back to 2012. He followed it up with a titanic 448-foot moonshot a couple innings later to cap off the multi-homer outburst. He’s in the midst of an extended power surge at the moment, going deep a staggering 11 times over his last 30 games.
  • PHI Shortstop #7
Trea Turner went 4-for-6 with a three-run homer and five RBI in Monday’s lopsided win over the Mariners.
Turner kicked off an impressive four-hit effort with a three-run homer – his 13th big fly of the season -- against Mariners ace Logan Gilbert in the second inning. He also drove in an additional run with a double to right field in the seventh inning to give the Phillies a commanding four-run advantage. He also tacked on an additional RBI single in the eighth inning, just for good measure. The 32-year-old shortstop has been on a tear of late, batting .365 (23-for-63) with two homers, 12 RBI and three steals over his last 15 games.
