With the Twins eliminated, Correa may get a chance to rest over these final two games after returning from plantar fasciitis. Brooks Lee gets the nod at shortstop in his place.

Scott won’t be able to play until May 27, as the 60 days doesn’t start until the start of the regular season. The 25-year-old right-hander isn’t likely to pitch in 2025 after undergoing a hybrid procedure in September of 2024.

The man they call PCA blistered a two-run homer off Cole Ragans in the first inning. He drove in another run off Ragans with a sac fly, and he doubled in his fourth and final run in the sixth. Crow-Armstrong has been outstanding in the first week-plus of Cactus League action with a .500 average and .929 slugging percentage, and while that’s not even kind of sustainable, it’s a reminder of how much talent the 22-year-old possesses.

Busch was only missing the homer for an exhibition game cycle. The 27-year-old has been excellent thus far in Arizona as seen in a .500/.526/.889 slash. There’s a lot to like about Busch’s bat even if he doesn’t get a chance to play against left-handed pitching.

Brown was fortunate to give up just the one run as he gave up four hits and a walk, but he was able to wiggle out of a jam thanks to two strikeouts. The 25-year-old is attempting to win a spot on the Chicago staff to open the season, but more than likely will begin the 2025 campaign with Triple-A Iowa.

Ragans gave up a pair of two-run homers in the first inning, and three more were charged to the southpaw in the third. Thankfully this doesn’t count, and it’s worth noting that Ragans looked good in his spring debut Monday against the Athletics. There’s no reason to panic based on one bad spring start with Ragans.

Crews slashed a single the opposite way for his first RBI, and picked up another hit up the middle for another an inning later. The 23-year-old rookie is hitting .462/.533/.615 this spring, and appears likely to hit near the top of the Washington lineup in 2025. There’s considerable fantasy upside in Crews’ bat.

Adams has his first homer of the spring with the grand salami. The 28-year-old will be the backup backstop to Keibert Ruiz for the 2025 campaign.

Garcia Jr. has a sore throat and a fever, so the Nationals did the responsible thing and sent him home. The 24-year-old should be back in the lineup next week.

This was Gore’s first appearance of the spring, and it was a good one. The 26-year-old southpaw allowed two hits and a walk, but was able to get the punchouts to keep Miami off the board. Gore has shown the ability to miss bats, but just hasn’t shown enough consistency to be trusted as a fantasy arm. It shouldn’t shock anyone if Gore had a breakout campaign in 2025, but obviously there are no guarantees.

Weathers struck out four in the outing. The 25-year-old southpaw is expected to be a part of the Miami rotation, and he’s hoping that 20-pounds of weight loss will help him remain healthy in the 2025 campaign. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach before investing.
