Dodgers optioned LHP Justin Wrobleski to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Wrobleski fired two scoreless innings of relief Saturday against the Guardians, so the Dodgers will go with a fresh arm. In this case it’s left-hander Nick Ramirez, who had his contract selected in the corresponding transaction.

Ketel Marte (personal) is expected to return to the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.
Marte is currently on the restricted list while dealing with a personal matter, but the expectation is the 31-year-old infielder will be activated before the series finale against St. Louis.
Alvarez looking 'more like himself' in Triple-A
Francisco Alvarez has found his bat in Triple-A after a "shocking," yet deserved demotion, and James Schiano details how the Mets catcher is looking "more like himself" after significant regression.
  • HOU 3rd Baseman #15
Isaac Paredes left Saturday’s game against the Mariners with an apparent injury.
Paredes lined a ball off the left-field fence on a play that should have been an easy double, but the right-hander pulled up lame just short of first base and was unable to continue. There should be a status update before the conclusion of Saturday’s contest, but Zach Short has taken over for Paredes in the meantime.
  • CHC Starting Pitcher #18
Shota Imanaga scattered five hits over seven innings in the Cubs’ 6-0 shutout of the Red Sox on Saturday.
Imanaga struck out five and walked one before former Red Sox relievers Brad Keller and Ryan Brasier finished up. His splitter was huge tonight; he got 10 whiffs on 27 pitches, and the hardest of the seven the Red Sox put in play was hit just 84 mph. Even though his strikeout rate is far down from last season, Imanaga is 7-3 with a 2.40 ERA through 13 starts. He’ll get the White Sox next.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #66
Brayan Bello yielded three runs in six innings Saturday in a loss to the Cubs.
Considering that Bello gave up homers to the very first two batters he faced (Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker), this turned out to be a pretty solid outing. He allowed only four singles afterwards, and he walked one and struck out four. The loss drops him to 6-4 with a 3.23 ERA, and he has another tough matchup against the Dodgers coming next week.
  • CHC Center Fielder #4
Pete Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with his 26th homer and 28th steal against the Red Sox on Saturday.
With the season 60% over, Crow-Armstrong is just about two-thirds of the way to a 40 HR/40 SB campaign. He has 11 more steals than any of the 19 other players with 20 homers (Byron Buxton has 22 homers and 17 steals) and eight more homers than any of the other 10 players with 20 steals (Kyle Tucker has 18 homers and 22 steals).
  • WSH 1st Baseman #33
Nathaniel Lowe went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in the Nationals’ 4-2 win over the Padres on Saturday.
Lowe extended the Washington lead in the sixth inning with a solo homer off Yuki Matsui. It was the 15th home run of the season for the 30-year-old first baseman, putting him well on pace to surpass his 16 homers last season. Lowe is slashing .231/.296/.401 with 62 RBI across 409 plate appearances.
  • SD 2nd Baseman #4
Luis Arraez went 2-for-3 with an RBI against the Nationals on Saturday.
Arraez drove in a run with a base hit in the third inning, then collected his second hit with a single in the fifth. He was later tasked with moving a pair of runners over on a sacrifice bunt in the eighth. The 28-year-old first baseman is hitting .285/.321/.392 with five homers, 40 runs scored, and 36 RBI across 402 plate appearances.
  • WSH Relief Pitcher #67
Kyle Finnegan struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning to record the save against the Padres on Saturday.
Finnegan was summoned in the ninth inning to close out the game against the Padres with a two-run lead. He tossed a clean frame, inducing a groundout before striking out the final two batters to convert his 19th save and first since June 6.
  • WSH Starting Pitcher #70
Mitchell Parker allowed two runs with four strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Padres on Saturday.
Parker tossed two clean innings before the Padres brought a pair of runs in to score in the third on two doubles and a base hit. He settled in for three more scoreless innings, ending his day after six with four strikeouts and in line for the win. The 25-year-old left-hander will take a 5.00 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and a 70/41 K/BB ratio across 108 innings into a start against the Twins in Minnesota on Friday.
  • SD Starting Pitcher #11
Yu Darvish allowed three runs with one strikeout over five innings in a loss against the Nationals on Saturday.
Darvish retired the first five batters he faced before the Nationals did some damage with two outs in the second inning, bringing two runs in to score on three hits. A walk, base hit, and a groundout brought a third run in to score in the fifth. Darvish would end his day after five innings at 69 pitches. He struck out just one. The 38-year-old right-hander holds a 6.08 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and an 8/7 K/BB ratio over 13 1/3 innings across his first three starts of the season.
