Jose Altuve was ejected from Tuesday’s game in the ninth inning after arguing that he fouled a pitch off his foot.
The umpiring crew ruled it a fair grounder instead, resulting in the final out in a tie game of the top of the ninth. Altuve shed his shoe, his sock and two inches from his listed height to try to prove that the pitch hit him, but Brennan Miller was having none of it and tossed him. It was not a reviewable play, because, well... because there’s really very little rhyme or reason about what MLB has deemed reviewable.
