Pedro Pages went 2-for-4 with two home runs against the Brewers on Monday.
Pages now has five home runs on the season. He hit a solo shot off Freddy Peralta in the third inning and another one in the fifth inning. Pages is hitting .250 with a .686 OPS and 20 RBI in 148 at-bats this year.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that James Tibbs III will be included in part of the return package that the Red Sox receive from the Giants for Rafael Devers.
The 22-year-old outfielder was the Giants’ first-round pick (13th overall) from the 2024 draft class. He has been stationed at High-A Eugene this season where he has slashed .245/.377/.480 with 12 homers, 32 RBI, two stolen bases and a 45/41 K/BB ratio over 252 plate appearances.
Casparius may get good ratios as Dodgers starter
Eric Samulski analyzes the Dodgers moving Ben Casparius into the starting rotations and what he will bring to fantasy managers in his new role.

Kyle Harrison was scratched from Sunday’s night scheduled start against the Dodgers as he’s believed to be included in the rumored deal with the Red Sox for Rafael Devers.
It sounds like the Giants will now go with a bullpen game on Sunday with Sean Hjelle warming up in the team’s bullpen and expected to start the game. With Justin Verlander (pectoral) likely to rejoin the Giants’ rotation during the upcoming week, it had been anticipated that Harrison would lose his spot in the Giants’ rotation. Now it sounds like he’s heading to the Red Sox where he’ll have an opportunity to stick at the big league level. Stay tuned.
  • BOS 3rd Baseman #11
The Red Sox are trading Rafael Devers to the Giants for Kyle Harrison, Jordan Hicks and more, according to FanSided’s Robert Murray.
A huge stunner, but it seems clear that Red Sox-Devers relationship had soured since the move off third base. Of course, he won’t be a third baseman in San Francisco, either, though perhaps he’ll play the position some until Matt Chapman comes off the IL. Devers is owed about $30 million per year through 2033, so the Red Sox could only expect so much in return here. Harrison, at least, has gotten quite a bit more interesting with his velocity up, and they’re taking some salary back with the injured Hicks, who still remains interesting as a fifth starter or setup man.
  • ATH 1st Baseman #16
Nick Kurtz hit a tiebreaking homer off Carlos Estévez in the top of the ninth Sunday as the A’s beat the Royals 3-2 on Sunday.
Kurtz launched a fastball 411 feet to right field for his first homer since coming off the injured list Monday. The 2024 first-round pick has six overall through 33 games and 129 plate appearances.
  • ATH Starting Pitcher #59
Jeffrey Springs allowed two runs and seven hits over six innings Sunday versus the Royals.
Springs’ strikeout rate had been getting better of late, but he fanned just two today. Fortunately, most of the hard contact he gave up produced outs and singles. One of those was outs came on a 390-foot fly from Nick Loftin that would have been a homer in 22 parks. Springs wasn’t involved in the decision, so he’s still 5-5 with a 4.52 ERA. He’ll get the Guardians next.
  • ATH Relief Pitcher #19
Mason Miller converted his 14th save of the year with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Royals.
Miller, bouncing back from giving up three runs on Friday, worked around a leadoff single and struck out two of the last three batters he faced. With the A’s struggling, the save is just the third he’s earned in the last month.
  • KC Starting Pitcher #65
Noah Cameron struck out seven over five scoreless innings against the A’s on Sunday.
Cameron was tagged for six runs by the Yankees last time out, but’s he’s allowed a total of three runs in his other six starts. This one was actually his shortest outing to date, as the Royals decided to get aggressive with their pen ahead of the off day Monday. Cameron allowed four hits and walked one while throwing 83 pitches. Alas, the two-run lead he left with was blown right away in the sixth. Cameron will face the Padres in San Diego next time out.
  • KC Relief Pitcher #53
Carlos Estévez took a loss to the Athletics after giving up a solo homer in a tie game Sunday.
Nick Kurtz homered off Estévez to give the A’s a 3-2 lead in the ninth. Both of Estévez’s losses this season have come this month, but those are also the only times he’s been scored upon since early May. His closing gig is pretty safe, though if he does open the door, Lucas Erceg would probably do just fine in his place.
  • SD Right Fielder #23
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base on Sunday as the Padres bested the Diamondbacks 8-2 in Arizona.
The 26-year-old superstar struck out to open the game, then wasn’t retired again the rest of the way. He singled off of Merrill Kelly in the third and the fifth inning, the second time he came in to score on an RBI double off the bat of Luis Arraez. Tatis then smacked an RBI double in the seventh that extended the Padres’ lead to 5-2, swiped third base and scored on a ground out by Manny Machado. He also doubled off of Anthony DeSclafani in the ninth and scored the game’s final run on an RBI knock by Machado. With his four-hit attack, Tatis is now hitting a healthy .277/.356/.473 with 13 homers, 31 RBI and 15 stolen bases on the season.
  • SD 2nd Baseman #9
Jake Cronenworth went 1-for-4 and belted a two-run homer on Sunday, helping to power the Padres past the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
Cronenworth tagged Diamondbacks’ right-hander Merrill Kelly for his 395-foot (102.1 mph EV) two-run shot after a 10-pitch battle in the fourth inning, extending the Padres’ early lead to 3-0. That would be his only hit on the afternoon. The versatile 31-year-old is now slashing .241/.367/.400 with five homers, 17 RBI and one stolen base through his first 178 plate appearances on the season.
