Max Meyer yielded three runs in six innings Friday in a no-decision against the Cubs.
All of runs came in the third, which featured an inside-the-park homer by Pete Crow-Armstrong. Still, even if Crow-Armstrong had been limited to a double or triple on his drive to right, it probably wouldn’t have prevented the three-run inning. Meyer will face the Rockies in Coors Field next time out, making him a weak play. He’d be worth rostering if he pitched for a contender, but it’s hard to recommend him on a team playing for 2026 or ’27.
