Roddery Muñoz struggled in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, surrendering three runs on five hits across 3 1/3 innings of work.
The 24-year-old right-hander also issued three free passes on the evening while striking out three batters. The Diamondbacks scratched out a run against him in the opening inning and then Jake McCarthy tagged him for a two-run blast in the third inning. Muñoz got six swings and misses on 73 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. He’ll tote an uninspiring 5.98 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and a 70/41 K/BB ratio (81 1/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field. It goes without saying, but fantasy managers should be avoiding that start like the plague.
