José Ureña gave up two runs over four innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Astros.
Ureña failed to record a strikeout, walked three batters and also coughed up six hits, including a third-inning homer to Yordan Alvarez. The 32-year-old journeyman righty has been a serviceable innings-eater this season for the Rangers, but he’s not a relevant option for fantasy managers, even in deeper mixed leagues. He’s in line to take the ball on Tuesday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park, who lit him up for seven runs last Friday, if Texas decides to give him another turn in the rotation.
