  • CLE 3rd Baseman #11

Jose Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two stolen bases against the Orioles on Sunday.
Ramirez now has 22 stolen bases on the season. He’s putting together an incredible fantasy season with 29 home runs and 93 RBI already. A 30-30 season is certainly in play at this point and his run totals have just been spectacular. Only Aaron Judge has more RBI than Ramirez this year.
  • DET Shortstop #28

Javier Báez is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Rays.
Báez will grab a seat on the bench to close out the series finale against Tampa Bay. He’ll rest with Colt Keith playing third base and Zach McKinstry lining up at shortstop.
Diaz among best bets for NL Reliever of the Year
Vaughn Dalzell examines the betting market for National League Reliever of the Year, explaining why New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz and Chicago Cubs veteran left-handed pitcher Drew Pomeranz are worthy gambles.
  • COL Catcher #15
Hunter Goodman is not in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Red Sox.
Goodman will get a day of maintenance against right-hander Lucas Giolito and the Boston bullpen. The 25-year-old All-Star selection will sit with Austin Nola catching and hitting ninth.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #63
Twins designated LHP Joey Wentz for assignment.
Wentz was atrocious after coming to Minnesota via waiver claim; allowing 14 runs in eight innings. He’ll hit the waiver wire and likely go unclaimed, and Anthony Misiewicz will take his spot on the active roster.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #58
Twins selected the contract of LHP Anthony Misiewicz from Triple-A St. Paul.
Misiewicz will have a chance to make his season debut after signing with Minnesota in January. The 30-year-old has had some success at the highest level, but not on a consistent basis. He’ll likely be just a mid-inning option while with the Twins.
  • LAD Relief Pitcher #45
Dodgers transferred RHP Michael Kopech to the 60-day injured list.
Kopech is moved to the 60-day list to make room for Tyler Glasnow (shoulder), who is coming off that list to start Wednesday against the Brewers. Kopech now won’t be eligible to return until the end of August.
  • LAD Relief Pitcher #40
Dodgers optioned RHP Alexis Díaz to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Díaz is optioned to Triple-A to make room for Tyler Glasnow (shoulder). The former Cincinnati closer will likely be back in a role that doesn’t offer relevancy at some point this summer.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #31
Dodgers activated RHP Tyler Glasnow off the 60-day injured list.
Glasnow will make his first start since the end of April. The right-hander was able to fire 78 pitches in his last rehab start, so it’s reasonable to think he can work five-plus innings in this return. Glasnow’s injury troubles are always, well, troubling; but when he’s on the mound, there aren’t many better.
  • LAD 2nd Baseman #25
Tommy Edman (toe) is hitting sixth and playing second base against the Brewers on Wednesday.
Edman missed three consecutive games with the hairline fracture in his right pinkie toe, but he’s feeling well enough to get the nod for Wednesday’s bout with the Brewers. Don’t be surprised if Edman gets some more maintenance days during the summer months.
  • MIL 1st Baseman #28
Andrew Vaughn is not in the starting lineup for the Brewers on Wednesday against the Dodgers.
Vaughn was recalled from Triple-A on Monday when Rhys Hoskins was placed on the injured list and has gone 2-for-7 with a home run, two runs scored, and four RBI in his first two games. Still, it appears that he will split time with Jake Bauers against right-handed pitching. Bauers was on the bench for the last two games but will start at first base and bat eighth against Tyler Glasnow on Wednesday.
  • CWS 1st Baseman #30
White Sox recalled 1B Tim Elko to Triple-A Charlotte.
White Brooks Baldwin (back) landing on the IL, Elko will get another shot at the big leagues after hitting .155/.222/.379 with a 24/5 K/BB ratio in 63 plate appearances earlier this season. Elko is right into the starting lineup, playing first base and batting seventh on Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
