Jakob Marsee went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base as the Marlins dispatched of the Rockies on Thursday afternoon in Colorado.
Marsee reached on a two-out infield single in the seventh inning and scored on a two-run single off the bat of Liam Hicks. He then smacked a hustle double with one out in the ninth inning, swiped third base and rode home on a two-run blast by Heriberto Hernandez. With his two-hit attack, the 24-year-old outfielder is slashing an impressive .320/.392/.535 with five homers, 30 RBI, 26 runs scored and 12 stolen bases (in 15 attempts) in his first 194 big league plate appearances.
