Wallner has had the power swing working, taking Luis Severino deep for a two-run homer in the third inning for his third home run in five games. The 26-year-old outfielder is up to six homers and 13 RBI while hitting .261/.381/.609 across 84 plate appearances. He’s also struck out 36 times for a strikeout rate north of 40 percent.

Bellinger opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 396-foot (107.7 mph EV) two-out, two-run shot off of Davis Martin in the top half of the first inning. He also led off the ninth inning with a single and scored the game’s final run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Paul Goldschmidt. With his three-hit attack, the 30-year-old slugger is now hitting .283/.336/.511 with 26 homers, 81 RBI and 11 stolen bases across his first 530 plate appearances.

The 28-year-old outfielder tattooed a 391-foot (104.2 mph EV) two-run shot off of Cam Booser in the eighth inning that increased the Yankees’ lead to 9-4. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, though he also drew a walk. Grisham has now slugged six home runs in his last nine ballgames and has already launched a career-high with 27 on the season.

Chisholm swatted a 382-foot (105.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Davis Martin to open the second inning, increasing the Bombers’ early advantage to 3-0. He then tacked on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning that made it 6-4. The 27-year-old infielder also singled in the ninth inning and swiped second base before ultimately being stranded at third. For the season, he’s now slashing .242/.338/.495 with a career-high 26 homers, 66 RBI and 24 stolen bases over 424 plate appearances.

Warren struck out three batters on the evening while allowing two free passes. All of the scoring done against him came on a grand slam by Miguel Vargas in the second inning after an error by Anthony Volpe had extended the inning. The 26-year-old hurler generated seven swings and misses on 93 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 4.30 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and a 149/60 K/BB ratio (136 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Astros in Houston.

Vargas tagged Yankees’ right-hander Will Warren for the game-tying, 401-foot (106.6 mph EV) four-run blast in the second inning. He then exited the game after Aaron Judge ran into his arm while Vargas was attempting to catch a ball at first base in the fifth inning. He’s scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Friday to determine the severity of the injury.

Martin struck out five batters on the night while issuing three free passes. He served up a two-run homer to Cody Bellinger in the opening inning and a solo shot to Jazz Chisholm Jr. as part of a two-run second inning. The 28-year-old right-hander got 10 swings and misses on 81 pitches on the night — six of those on his fastball — registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back as he carries a 4.03 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and an 85/38 K/BB ratio (116 innings) into Tuesday’s battle against the Twins in Minneapolis.

Hicks drove in a run with a fielder’s choice off of Clay Holmes in the third inning that tied the game at 2-2. He then scored on a throwing error by Holmes. The 26-year-old also reached on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI single by Otto Lopez. He has done a nice job in his time with the Marlins this season, slashing .263/.355/.358 with just four homers and 38 RBI In 321 plate appearances.

Lopez smacked a run-scoring single off of Clay Holmes in the third inning that extended the Marlins’ early lead to 4-2. He then made it a 6-4 ballgame with an RBI knock off of Gregory Soto in the seventh. With his two-hit attack, the 26-year-old infielder is now slashing .239/.308/.354 with 11 homers, 61 RBI and 12 stolen bases on the season.

Faucher wasn’t messing around in this one, going right through the heart of the Mets’ lineup. He retired Starling Marte on a fly ball to center, Francisco Lindor on a swinging third strike and Juan Soto on a ground ball to second base to end it, needing just seven pitches (six strikes) to get the job done. He now boasts a 3.35 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and a 49/21 K/BB ratio over 51 innings on the season while converting 13 of his first 18 save chances.

Mazur struck out two opposing batters on the night while issuing one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the opening inning on a two-run double off the bat of Brandon Nimmo. He settled in nicely after that and finished his day with three scoreless frames. Mazur got eight swings and misses on only 60 pitches on the night — four of them on his slider — while posting a strong CSW of 33 percent. It’s unclear if he’ll stick around to make another start against the Nationals on Tuesday in Washington, though he could be an interesting streaming option in deeper leagues if he does.
