Wandy Peralta left Tuesday’s game in the ninth inning with an apparent groin injury.
Peralta looked like he wanted to try some warmup pitches after grabbing at his groin area on his final offering of the night, but the team didn’t let him. Hopefully, it will prove to be a day-to-day injury.

He kept the Mariners from scoring again until an error extended the sixth inning with two outs and loaded the bases. Flaherty was done for the day at 99 pitches. One inherited run came in to score, charged as unearned. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 3.00 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and a 162/24 K/BB ratio across 129 innings into a start against the Orioles in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #36
