Twins signed RHP Austin Brice to a minor league contract.
Brice latches on with Minnesota as emergency organizational relief depth. The 31-year-old righty last appeared in the majors during the 2022 season when he made four appearances for the Pirates.

Reds RHP prospect Chase Burns struck out five and allowed one run over four innings on Saturday for Double-A Chattanooga.
Burns continued to dazzle in his Double-A debut after three dominant outings to open the year in the High-A Midwest League. The 22-year-old is quickly establishing himself as one of the top pitching prospects in baseball with a sparkling 2.87 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 25/6 K/BB ratio across 15 2/3 innings (four starts). He’s put himself in the conversation for top-20 status from a dynasty perspective.
Pirates' Heaney worth a fantasy rotation spot
Eric Samulski pops the hood on Andrew Heaney's impressive start for the Pittsburgh Pirates to explain why he's worth adding to fantasy rosters for spot-starts in good matchups.
  • PIT Shortstop #85
Pirates SS/OF prospect Konnor Griffin went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Saturday for Low-A Bradenton.
Griffin has homered in back-to-back games and is up to four-round trippers through 17 games in his professional debut in the Carolina League. The 19-year-old phenom, who was selected ninth overall in last year’s draft, holds a robust .782 Ops with six extra-base hits and 11 stolen bases. He’s a borderline top-10 prospect for dynasty purposes already.
  • MIL Shortstop #91
Brewers SS prospect Jesús Made went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBI on Saturday for Low-A Carolina.
Among the most intriguing prospects in the dynasty landscape, Made has made some serious early-season noise in his stateside debut as a 17-year-old switch-hitting shortstop in the Carolina League. He capped off another multi-hit performance with an opposite-field blast to left field — his second round-tripper of the season — and holds an .858 OPS through 14 games. He’s a borderline top-10 prospect for dynasty purposes with legitimate superstar potential.
  • DET Starting Pitcher #21
Jackson Jobe is scheduled to make his next start on Wednesday against the Astros.
Detroit has ostensibly skipped Jobe’s turn through the rotation, giving him a whopping 12 days off between outings, in an effort to manage his season-long workload. They’re basically rolling with a six-man rotation with Keider Montero helping gobble up innings as needed. The 22-year-old, who holds a strong 2.70 ERA through four starts this season, is healthy and in line to take the ball for Wednesday’s afternoon’s matinee at Daikin Park in Houston.
  • NYY Relief Pitcher #73
Yerry De Los Santos will serve as the 27th man for Sunday’s doubleheader against the Blue Jays.
De Los Santos provides the Yankees with some extra bullpen depth for Sunday’s twin bill against the division-rival Blue Jays. He’ll head back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the conclusion of the nightcap affair.
  • BOS Right Fielder #52
Wilyer Abreu is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Guardians.
Abreu has been left off Boston’s lineup card to open Sunday’s series finale with lefty Logan Allen taking the ball for Cleveland. The 25-year-old slugger blasted a three-run homer — his fifth round-tripper of the season — during the opening contest of Saturday’s doubleheader. It’ll be lefty-mashing veteran Rob Refsnyder in right field on Sunday afternoon.
  • TB Left Fielder #45
Rays signed OF Andrew Stevenson to a minor league contract.
Stevenson heads to Triple-A Durham to help bolster Tampa Bay’s injury-depleted outfield depth. The 30-year-old outfielder last appeared in the majors back in 2023 when he got into 25 games for the Twins. He’s merely extra organizational depth at this stage of his career.
  • SEA 1st Baseman #23
Rowdy Tellez is day-to-day with a left hand contusion.
The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative for any fractures after Tellez was hit by a pitch during Saturday’s showdown against the Marlins. There’s a strong possibility he takes a seat for Sunday’s series finale to allow the pain and swelling to subside.
  • SEA 3rd Baseman #9
Ben Williamson drove in four runs in the Mariners’ rout of the Marlins on Saturday.
Williamson continues to impress, and he has a new career-high in RBI with the four Saturday evening. The pair of hits now has him slashing .310/.356/.429 on the year, and he’s been excellent with the glove as expected. He doesn’t have much power, but Williamson’s bat-to-ball skills make him someone to keep an eye on in formats with a shallower pool.
  • SEA Center Fielder #44
Julio Rodríguez hit a leadoff homer in a win over the Marlins on Saturday.
The man they call J-Rod blistered his ninth-career leadoff homer off a wholly ineffective Collin Gillispie. Rodriguez really struggled to hit for power in 2024 to begin the year, but he’s up to four homers over the first 27 games to open 2025. Not an elite total by any stretch of the imagination, but a considerable improvement over his start to last year.
