The 22-year-old righty, who was selected ninth overall in last year’s MLB Draft, hasn’t skipped a beat since arriving in the upper minors, compiling a microscopic 1.65 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 55/15 K/BB ratio across 43 2/3 innings (eight starts) for Double-A Hartford.

Profar’s home run was his 22nd of the season. He hit a solo shot off Casey Mize in the first inning. Profar continues to add to his career-highs in home runs and RBI this year. He’s hitting .278 with an .844 OPS and 82 RBI on the season.

Holton’s save was his seventh of the season. Jason Foley is the Tigers’ closer, but Holton will continue to get save opportunities in the right matchups. He’ll also start games as an opener. It’s a fluid role as Tigers manager AJ Hinch uses him as Swiss army knife. Holton is 5-1 with a 2.35 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings.

Torkelson got off to a hot start following his return to the major, but all of a sudden he’s 6-for-30 (.200) with 16 strikeouts and two walks in his last nine games. It’s a small sample size, but when a player is sent down for two and a half months in the middle of the season, small samples are all we have left. Torkelson can still provide power, but he might be a drag on batting averages the rest of the way.

The home run was Meadows’ sixth of the season. He hit a grand slam off Robert Suarez in the ninth inning. Things were looking bleak for the Tigers down three runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Meadows came through in the clutch with a game-winning grand slam. He’s 31-for-103 (.301) with three home runs, five stolen bases and 12 RBI in 26 games since returning from injury.

Perez gave up five hits, walked one and struck out five. It was a great start for Perez, who was in line for the win before Robert Suarez blew the save in the ninth inning. Perez is 4-5 with a 4.46 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 96 strikeouts in 121 innings this year. The 33-year-old left-hander is set to face the Mariners on the road next week.

Mize gave up six hits, walked one and struck out two. In 18 starts this year, Mize has six quality starts and has struck out more than six batters only once. He’s far from an exciting fantasy option. Mize is 2-6 with a 4.30 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 90 innings this year. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies at home next week.

Yates’ save was his 27th of the season. He struck out three in a perfect ninth inning. Yates didn’t start the season with the closer’s job, but has been one of the better pickups of the fantasy season. He lowered his ERA to 1.34 on the year with the scoreless outing.

It was a much needed effort for Neto. He was hitting .182 with three home runs and six RBI in his previous 21 games. Neto’s hitting .257 with 20 home runs, 27 stolen bases, a .773 OPS and 67 RBI on the year.
