The 25-year-old former top prospect looked outstanding in a pair of early-season starts before a blister on his right middle finger sent him to the injured list. Leiter should be rostered in all fantasy formats until further notice.

Mariners selected the contract of RHP Logan Evans from Triple-A Tacoma.

Evans will make his major-league debut on Sunday afternoon against the rebuilding Marlins at T-Mobile Park. The 23-year-old was fast-tracked to the big leagues after being an unheralded 12th-round selection in the 2023 MLB Draft. He doesn’t miss a ton of bats, relying more on a command and control approach, and profiles as a back-end rotation stabilizer. He’ll likely get an extended opportunity with the Mariners while ace Logan Gilbert (forearm) is on the shelf.
