Ritter earned his first call-up to the big leagues on Friday night after being one of the hottest hitters in the minors over the past few weeks at Triple-A Albuquerque. The 24-year-old middle infielder, who has 16 round-trippers in 52 games this season at the Triple-A level, is worthy of consideration for a roster spot in extremely deep leagues. He’ll get a chance to prove he belongs in the big leagues while Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) is on the shelf for the next couple weeks.

The 22-year-old former top prospect hasn’t set the fantasy landscape ablaze, but he’s holding his own at the highest level, showing occasional flashes of big-time upside.

Correa has been battling a lingering back issue for the past few days, but it doesn’t sound like he’s heading back to the injured list. The 30-year-old shortstop figures to return to Minnesota’s lineup at some point this weekend. He’s day-to-day for now.

Kyle Teel went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a pair of walks on Friday in his major-league debut against the Royals.

Teel drew a walk in his first career plate appearance before notching his first big-league hit in the third inning with a line-drive single to left field against Royals veteran Seth Lugo. The 23-year-old top prospect was the centerpiece of the Garrett Crochet trade (although fantasy managers will likely be making an argument for Braden Montgomery in a couple years) and figures to split the catching duties for Chicago with fellow highly-touted prospect Edgar Quero.

Tommy Edman

LAD 2nd Baseman #25

Tommy Edman (ankle) went 1-for-4 in Friday’s shutout loss at the hands of the Cardinals.

Edman returned to Los Angeles’ lineup on Thursday after sitting out a pair of contests earlier this week after tweaking his right ankle. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward, but it’s a situation fantasy managers should continue monitoring.

Camilo Doval

SF Relief Pitcher #75

Camilo Doval struck out the side Friday in a scoreless inning of relief against Atlanta on Friday.

Doval doesn’t get a win, save or even a hold since he worked in a tie ballgame, which is disappointing. Three strikeouts and a scoreless frame to lower the ole ERA is a nice consolation prize. Doval has been fantastic in 2025, and there’s no reason to think that he’s giving up this closing gig to anyone in the San Francisco bullpen anytime soon, if ever.

Mason Miller

ATH Relief Pitcher #19

Mason Miller was able to pick up a save by working 1 2/3 scoreless innings against the Orioles on Friday.

You don’t see a ton of five-out saves anymore, but Miller was able to do just that for the series-opening win against the Orioles. The hard-throwing right-hander struck out three, and he issued just a walk while not allowing any hits. Miller’s stuff is electric and few closers are better when he’s at his best, and after his struggles for the majority of May, it appears he’s turned things around for the better.

Dean Kremer

BAL Starting Pitcher #64

Dean Kremer was charged for five runs in 5 1/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Kremer was coming off an excellent start against the White Sox on Saturday, but he was nowhere close to as effective in his follow-up start. He struck out just two while allowing eight hits; giving fantasy managers an idea of how little he fooled the A’s lineup during Friday’s affair. Kremer looked good for most of June, but this was a reminder of what can go wrong when you don’t have quality swing-and-miss stuff. He’s a volatile option at best against the Tigers on Thursday.
