Adam Plutko has re-signed with the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization.
Plutko could make up to $1.4 million this season in Korea. The 31-year-old righty emerged as one of the top starting pitchers in Korea last year, finishing his debut with a stellar 2.39 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 149/38 K/BB ratio across 162 innings (28 starts).

DL Hall will function as an opener for the Brewers during Friday’s series opener against the Phillies.
The expectation is that Quinn Priester will then work bulk innings in relief behind him. The 26-year-old southpaw has made one appearance since returning from the injured list, earning a victory over the Red Sox after allowing one run on two hits over his 2 1/3 innings of work. He’s not going to pitch deep enough into the game to earn a victory which curtails any value that he may have had from a fantasy perspective.

Eric Samulski evaluates what to expect from Camilo Doval after the San Francisco Giants named the former National League saves leader their closer moving forward.
  • TOR 3rd Baseman #22
Ernie Clement went 3-for-5 with a homer, double and five RBI on Thursday night as the Blue Jays routed the Athletics 12-0 in Toronto.
Clement opened the scoring in the contest with a 383-foot (97.1 mph EV) three-run shot off of Jacob Lopez. He then came to the plate against Anthony Maldonado later in the same inning and added on a two-run double that extended the Jays’ lead to 8-0. With his three-hit attack, the 29-year-old infielder is now slashing .256/.301/.344 with two homers, 16 RBI and two stolen bases through his first 176 plate appearances on the season.
  • TOR Shortstop #11
Bo Bichette homered, doubled and drove in three runs on Thursday evening as the Blue Jays throttled the Athletics 12-0.
Bichette smacked a run-scoring double off of Jacob Lopez during the Blue Jays’ eight-run uprising in the second inning. He then victimized Anthony Maldonado for a 383-foot (104.7 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning that made it 10-0. The 27-year-old shortstop has done a nice job atop the Jays’ lineup this season, slashing .277/.324/.426 with six long balls, 30 RBI and four stolen bases in his first 56 games.
  • TOR 1st Baseman #27
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. slugged his eighth home run of the season on Thursday night, helping to power the Blue Jays to a lopsided victory over the Athletics.
The 26-year-old first baseman did his damage as part of an eight-run rally in the second inning, with his 399-foot (109.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Jacob Lopez making it a 6-0 ballgame. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the evening. On the season, the recently extended franchise cornerstone is now hitting .279/.382/.433 with eight homers and 25 RBI.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #17
José Berríos racked up nine strikeouts over six innings of shutout baseball in an impressive victory over the Athletics on Thursday evening.
The 31-year-old right-hander allowed just two hits on the night while walking a pair. The Jays’ offense staked him to an eight-run advantage after the second inning and all Berríos had to do was keep the train on the tracks to earn a victory in this one. His only jam came in the sixth inning where the first two batters reached, but they never advanced from there as Berríos bore down to retire the next three hitters in order. He got 11 whiffs on 90 pitches on the evening, registering a CSW of 32 percent. He’ll try to replicate this outstanding effort when he brings a 3.86 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 65/28 K/BB ratio (70 innings) into Wednesday’s tilt against the Phillies.
  • ATH Right Fielder #4
Lawrence Butler went 1-for-3 with a single and a walk as the Athletics were shut out by José Berríos and the Blue Jays on Thursday evening.
As a team, the A’s were only able to muster four total hits and two walks in the contest — with Butler the only member of their offense to reach base twice. He also struck out twice in the ballgame. On the season, he’s hitting a disappointing .249/.307/.441 with eight homers, 23 RBI and eight stolen bases through his first 231 plate appearances.
  • ATH Relief Pitcher #57
Jacob Lopez was absolutely obliterated in Thursday night’s loss to the Blue Jays, giving up seven runs on six hits in just 1 2/3 innings of work.
Oof. The 27-year-old left-hander walked a batter and didn’t record a strikeout in the miserable performance. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning, including home runs off the bat of Ernie Clement and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Lopez got just two swings and misses on 43 pitches on the night, posting a miserable CSW of 21 percent. He’s now 0-3 with a 6.32 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and a 17/9 K/BB ratio over 15 2/3 innings in six appearances (three starts) with the A’s this season. It remains to be seen if he’ll draw another start on Tuesday against the Twins, or if he’ll head back to Triple-A Las Vegas for more seasoning.
  • ATL 3rd Baseman #27
Austin Riley went 2-for-3 with a double, homer, two walks and four RBI on Thursday evening, propelling the Braves to an 9-3 victory over the Phillies in Philadelphia and a split of their doubleheader.
Riley opened the scoring in Thursday’s contest with a two-run double off of Zack Wheeler in the fourth inning, then he rode home on a two-run blast off the bat of Ozzie Albies. Riley also walked in the sixth inning and scored on a two-run single by Luke Williams. He then tagged Joe Ross for a 409-foot (111.0 mph EV) two-run shot in the seventh inning that made it an 8-0 ballgame. With the two-hit attack, he’s now hitting .280/.336/.444 with nine homers and 32 RBI on the season.
  • ATL Left Fielder #20
Marcell Ozuna singled, drew a pair of walks and scored two runs on Thursday night as the Braves bested the Phillies in Philadelphia.
The 34-year-old slugger started a four-run uprising with a one-out single off of Zack Wheeler in the fourth inning, racing around to score on a two-run double by Austin Riley. He also worked walks in the first and ninth innings and scored the Braves’ final run on a ground out off the bat of Ozzie Albies. Ozuna is enjoying another tremendous season at the dish thus far, slashing .279/.428/.464 with nine long balls and 24 RBI through his first 229 plate appearances.
  • ATL 2nd Baseman #1
Ozzie Albies homered, walked and drove in three runs on Thursday night as the Braves triumphed over the Phillies in the nightcap of their doubleheader.
Albies walloped a 345-foot (94.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Zack Wheeler on a first-pitch splitter in the fourth inning that extended the Braves’ early lead to 4-0. He also drew a walk in the sixth inning and scored on a two-run single off the bat of Luke Williams. He also plated a run with a ground out in the ninth inning. On the season, the 28-year-old second baseman is slashing .241/.307/.361 with six homers, 22 RBI and five swipes in his first 55 ballgames.
