Nationals sent INF/OF Yasel Antuna outright to Triple-A Rochester.
Antuna passed through waivers unclaimed after being pushed off the 40-man roster in Washington. The 23-year-old batted .215/.353/.338 with 11 home runs and 27 stolen bases in 125 games this past season between High-A Wilmington and Double-A Harrisburg.

Christopher Morel homered and doubled in a win for the Rays over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday in 11 innings.
Morel’s second homer of the season tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning off Eduardo Rodriguez. The double was the fourth of the season, and one of five two-baggers that Tampa Bay hit in the extra-inning win. Morel has been so-so in 2025 thus far with a .258/.329/.409 slash along with seven RBI and two steals over 22 games and 66 at-bats.
Cubs CF Crow-Armstrong has 'true star potential'
James Schiano discusses the breakout of Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, explaining how the 23-year-old Los Angeles native has been able to turn his game around this season after struggling to start his career.
  • TB 1st Baseman #2
Yandy Diaz went 3-for-6 with two doubles and three RBI in an extra-innings win Wednesday over the Diamondbacks.
Diaz drove in two runs in the seventh to give the Rays a 4-3 lead. The 33-year-old veteran extended Tampa Bay’s lead to 7-5 in the 11th with a double that scored Jonathan Aranda. Diaz was due for a big game, as he’s still slashing a disappointing .230/.271/.380 over the Rays’ first 24 games.
  • ARI Center Fielder #7
Corbin Carroll hit two homers in a 7-6 loss to the Rays on Wednesday in 11 innings.
Carroll hit a leadoff homer in the first inning, and he came up big with a solo homer in the seventh to give the D-Backs a 5-4 lead. The 24-year-old has now hit nine homers, and it’s worth pointing out that Carroll didn’t reach that total in 2024 until August 7. The 2023 Rookie of the Year clearly was going through some things in the first half of last season. To say he’s not going through those things to begin 2025 is quite the understatement.
  • TB Relief Pitcher #17
Eric Orze was credited with a save Wednesday while giving up an unearned run against the Diamondbacks.
Orze’s run was the ‘zombie’ runner that started on second base to begin the bottom of the 11th. That’s not to say the 27-year-old looked great, as he walked two and gave up a hit, but he was handed a two-run lead and did just enough to get the save. It’s hard to imagine Orze will get more save chances going forward.
  • ARI Starting Pitcher #57
Eduardo Rodriguez allowed four runs Wednesday over 6 1/3 innings against the Rays while not picking up a decision.
Rodriguez, 32, gave up two of those four runs in the seventh inning to turn a solid start into one that was just so-so — at least in terms of results. The southpaw did strike out five in the contest against one walk, but it wasn’t enough for the win. Rodriguez now has an ERA of 4.40, but a much-more impressive K/BB of 34/7 suggests that number is going to go down. His next chance to make good on that is scheduled for Tuesday against the Mets.
  • TB Starting Pitcher #45
Taj Bradley allowed three runs while firing six innings against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, and didn’t qualify for a decision.
Bradley gave up a homer in the first and another run in the second, but settled down over the next four frames. The 24-year-old struck out just three in the contest with two walks, but this coulda been much worse after his scuffles in the first pair of frames. Bradley now has an ERA of 5.08, and he’ll try and keep lowering it Tuesday against the Royals.
  • ATH Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers drove in a run while going 4-for-4 in a win over the Rangers on Wednesday.
Langeliers was just 2-for-20 in his last five games before Wednesday’s game, so he was due for some positive results. Four hits definitely counts. The 27-year-old is unlikely to be much of a helper in the average category, but the power makes him an underrated fantasy option for 2025 and the future.
  • TEX Left Fielder #36
Wyatt Langford hit a solo homer Wednesday in a loss to the Athletics.
Langford lashed a solo homer off JP Sears in the fourth inning to make it a 5-1 game. Unfortunately for Langford and the Rangers, the Athletics had the five. The 23-year-old outfielder has homered six times in 2025 with an exceptional slash of .294/.393/.667.
  • ATH 1st Baseman #16
Nick Kurtz went 1-for-4 with an RBI to help the Athletics to a 5-2 win over the Rangers on Wednesday.
Kurtz gets his first RBI and first hit in his first at-bat in the first inning. A lot of firsts. The 22-year-old is one of the best hitting prospects in the sport, and while he went hitless in his other three at-bats, he’s absolutely worthy of roster consideration for those who need help in the corner infield.
  • ATH Relief Pitcher #19
Mason Miller struck out three while working a scoreless ninth to get a save Wednesday against the Rangers.
Miller did allow a hit, but it’s another outing where he holds the opponent scoreless while picking up his seventh save. It’s the third time in 2025 he’s struck out three hitters in an inning of work, and he’s picked up multiple punchouts in all but two of his nine outings. It’s hard to say any reliever has been more impressive than Miller in 2025.
