Pirates sent LHP Dillon Peters outright to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Peters will remain in the Pirates organization after he was waived earlier this week. The 30-year-old left-hander has posted a 4.58 ERA across 39 1/3 innings for the Pirates this season.

Dodgers 2B/OF prospect Hyeseong Kim clobbered two homers on Saturday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
There were zero questions from a defensive standpoint by the conclusion of spring training, but the Dodgers wanted Kim to spend some additional time in the minors working on his swing in advance of his stateside debut. The 26-year-old figures to arrive in Los Angeles at some point in the near future, especially with the Dodgers struggling mightily with defensive miscues. He’s hitting .293 (17-for-58) with three homers and four steals over 13 games in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.
  • ARI Shortstop #10
Diamondbacks SS prospect Jordan Lawlar went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three walks on Saturday for Triple-A Reno.
The interesting wrinkle here for fantasy managers, even in re-draft formats, is that Lawlar has played the last couple games at second base. There’s optimism Ketel Marte (hamstring) will be ready to return by late April or early May, but there’s an opening for the 22-year-old top prospect to potentially come up for a couple weeks as a stopgap solution. He’ll contribute across all five categories from a fantasy standpoint once he establishes himself at the highest level, which makes him a top-20 range prospect for dynasty purposes.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #76
Phillies RHP prospect Andrew Painter recorded three strikeouts over 1 2/3 innings on Friday in his season debut for Low-A Clearwater.
Painter looked like the top pitching prospect that dominated the Arizona Fall League in his season debut, averaging 98.2 mph on his fastball and hitting triple-digits three separate times in his first minor league outing since returning from Tommy John surgery. He generated nine swinging strikes, threw 37 pitches, and scattered three baserunners. The 22-year-old figures to join Philadelphia’s rotation sometime in July and will make a significant impact for fantasy purposes, even if there’s a bit of a precautionary governor on his workload.
  • BOS Center Fielder #48
Red Sox OF prospect Roman Anthony recorded three hits with exit velocities over 103 mph on Friday for Triple-A Worcester.
Anthony is starting to really heat up after a slow start to the minor league season. He put on an absolute laser show Friday night, recording doubles with 103.8 mph and 103.7 mph exit velocities in the first and fifth innings, respectively, before tacking on a 107.6-mph single in the eighth. The 20-year-old prodigy got Saturday off when a couple inches of snow fell in the Worcester area. He’s the top prospect left in the minor leagues from a fantasy perspective and should be stashed in all re-draft formats.
  • STL Shortstop #87
Cardinals SS prospect JJ Wetherholt is batting .286 (8-for-28) through seven games at Double-A Springfield.
Wetherholt has reeled off three consecutive multi-hit performances following an ice-cold start at the Double-A level. The seventh-overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft boasts 20-homer upside and above-average speed which makes him one of the top 20 prospects in the dynasty landscape already.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #76
White Sox LHP prospect Noah Schultz struck out six over over five shutout innings on Saturday for Double-A Birmingham.
Schultz is one of the top pitching prospects in the dynasty landscape and is tracking towards reaching Chicago by the end of the year, if not sooner. The towering 21-year-old southpaw pairs near triple-digit fastball with a deadly slider and improving changeup, which gives him a shot at becoming a certifiable fantasy ace in the future. He holds a respectable 4.00 ERA and 11/3 K/BB ratio across nine innings (two starts) to open the year.
  • BAL 3rd Baseman #16
Orioles 3B prospect Coby Mayo belted a solo homer and walked twice on Saturday for Triple-A Norfolk.
There’s some serious prospect fatigue going on here as Mayo seemingly languishes at the Triple-A level after flopping last season in his first chance at the highest level. The 23-year-old third baseman remains an elite dynasty prospect until further notice, but the excitement level among fantasy managers has certainly declined, especially since Mayo is hitting just .213 (10-for-47) with two homers and a 15/8 K/BB ratio through 13 games at Triple-A Norfolk.
  • CIN 3rd Baseman #84
Reds 3B prospect Sal Stewart slugged a walk-off grand slam on Saturday for Double-A Chattanooga.
Stewart has evolved into one of Cincinnati’s top prospects after being selected 32nd overall in the 2022 MLB Draft. He’s hitting .393 (11-for-28) with two homers in seven games at the Double-A level. The 21-year-old slugger isn’t going to run much and has some defensive questions at the highest level, but he projects as a reliable 20-plus homer power source. It’s great to see him tearing the cover off the ball after missing most of last year recovering from wrist surgery.
  • CHC Starting Pitcher #70
Cubs RHP prospect Cade Horton has recorded a 1.23 ERA through two starts for Triple-A Iowa.
It’s extremely encouraging to see Horton excelling after missing most of last year with a lat strain. The 23-year-old righty holds a strong 1.23 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 12/7 K/BB ratio across 7 1/3 innings (two starts). He’ll continue ramping up at the Triple-A level and figures to be an option for Chicago’s starting rotation sometime around midseason.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #81
Reds RHP prospect Chase Burns recorded seven strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings on Friday for High-A Dayton.
With Jackson Jobe reaching the big leagues, in addition to both Andrew Painter and Bubba Chandler on the precipice of getting there, there’s an argument for Burns as the top pitching prospect left in the minors. The hard-throwing 22-year-old has looked unhittable in a pair of early-season starts at High-A, piling up 13 strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings of work. He’s the real deal.
