Suarez hit .256 with 30 home runs and 101 RBI in his first season with Arizona. He originally signed a seven-year deal with the Reds in 2018 and will be a free agent next offseason.

Kiermaier is calling it quits after a 12-year career and going out on top as a World Series champion with the Los Angeles Dodgers after a midseason trade from the Toronto Blue Jays. Kiermaier hit .197 with five home runs and 26 RBI in 116 games during the regular season. A four-time Gold Glove award winner, the 34-year-old will be remembered most for his defense and 10 years played with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The 32-year-old outfielder settled for a one-year, $23.5 million contract last off-season. He then went on to be a key cog in the Dodgers’ championship run — slashing .272/.339/.501 with 33 homers, 99 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 652 plate appearances. As one of the top right-handed hitters available on the open market, expect Hernandez to land a lucrative multi-year deal this time around.

This one was a foregone conclusion as Weaver looks like one of the best discounts in all of baseball after his emergence as one of the top high-leverage relievers in all of baseball. Weaver registered a 2.89 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and a 103/26 K/BB ratio over 84 innings with the Yankees in 2024. He finished the regular season as their closer, notching four saves before adding another four saves to his ledger during the postseason. He’s the favorite to enter the 2025 campaign as the club’s closer which makes him an extremely attractive option in all fantasy drafts.

The 30-year-old infielder passed through waivers unclaimed and will remain with the Giants on the minor league side for the time being. Walton appeared in just nine games with the Giants during the 2024 season, slashing .136/.240/.273 with one homer, two RBI and a 7/2 K/BB ratio over 25 plate appearances.

The deal also includes a $3 million option for the 2026 season. The Reds chose to go this route instead of simply exercising their $3.5 million option on the left-hander for the 2025 season. Suter was one of the most reliable options in the team’s bullpen during the 2024 campaign, compiling a 3.15 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 50/12 K/BB ratio over 65 2/3 innings while recording a pair of saves.

Junis will receive a $3 million buyout and will hit the open market. The right-hander excelled as a full-time member of the bullpen in 2024, compiling a brilliant 2.69 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and a 51/8 K/BB ratio over 67 innings between the Brewers and Reds. Given his success in 2024, he won’t have any trouble finding a landing spot for the 2025 season.

This doesn’t come as a surprise, as the 34-year-old right-hander should be able to do much better than that for himself on the open market after a strong season with the Reds in which he went 10-7 with a 3.10 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and a 116/18 K/BB ratio across 142 1/3 innings in 42 appearances (16 starts). He should have plenty of interested suitors over the winter.
