Michael Conforto is not in the Mets’ lineup Sunday.
Jeff McNeil and Wilson Ramos are also getting a day off against southpaw Cole Hamels. J.D. Davis and Carlos Gomez are in the corner outfield spots and Tomas Nido is catching.

Cal Raleigh hit a two-run homer to help the Mariners to a win over the Twins on Satudray in 11 innings.
Palencia 'asserts himself' as Cubs closer
Daniel Palencia has four saves in his last four appearances, and James Schiano examines how the 25-year-old flamethrower has officially asserted himself as the Chicago Cubs closer moving forward.
  • MIN Right Fielder #38
Matt Wallner smacked a two-run homer in an extra-innings loss to the Mariners on Saturday.
  • SEA 2nd Baseman #2
Cole Young went 1-for-4 with an RBI in the 11th inning to give the Mariners a 5-4 win over the Twins on Saturday.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #17
Bailey Ober didn’t factor into the decision Saturday after allowing two runs in four-plus innings against the Mariners.
Ober was pulled with runners on first-and-third with no outs in the fourth inning after throwing a whopping 97 pitches. Louis Varland struck out the next three to keep his ERA at 3.48. He allowed a two-run homer to Cal Raleigh, but while he wasn’t efficient and put the leadoff batter on in four-of-five innings, that was the only blemish in terms of run prevention. Ober will look to get deeper with similar results against the Athletics in Sacramento; scheduled for Thursday.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #50
Bryce Miller went four innings and allowed three runs in a loss to the Twins on Saturday.
Miller was making his first start since coming off the injured list with elbow inflammation, and the 26-year-old was mostly fine. The exception was a second inning where he gave up a two-run homer to Matt Wallner and an RBI single to Byron Buxton. The stuff looked good outside of that frame in a start that was more encouraging than the statline might indicate. Miller will be back on the bump and likely be given more leash against the Angels on Friday.
  • LAD 2nd Baseman #6
Hyeseong Kim went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored in a win Saturday over the Yankees.
  • NYY Right Fielder #99
Aaron Judge hit two solo homers while going 3-for-4 in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.
  • LAD 3rd Baseman #13
Max Muncy homered twice while driving in seven runs in an 18-2 thumping of the Yankees on Saturday for the Dodgers.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #96
Landon Knack fired six strong innings of one-run baseball to get a win over the Yankees on Saturday.
Knack was given nearly three touchdowns worth of run support, so he didn’t have to pitch well, but pitch well he did. The only run he allowed was on a solo homer from Aaron Judge — one of two homers Judge hit on the evening — and he struck out six while allowing five hits and three walks. That’s back-to-back outings where he he’s allowed just one earned run, and Knack has now lowered his ERA to a still-shaky 4.58. He’ll face the Mets for the second time in three starts next week.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #98
Will Warren gave up seven runs over 1 1/3 innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.
Yikes. Warren’s command was atrocious Saturday, as he threw just 29-of-57 pitches for strikes and issued four walks. He also allowed six hits, and after giving up a three-run homer to Max Muncy with one out in the second, the Yankees mercifully let him leave the game. The 25-year-old had pitched well over his last few starts, but you can’t have poor command against the Dodgers and expect good results. He gets a chance to bounce back against the Red Sox next week.
