Ian Happ is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Cubs.
The outfield for the Cubs against Trevor Bauer and the Indians will be Kyle Schwarber, Albert Almora, and Ben Zobrist getting a start in right. Happ has struck out 54 times in 39 games, but still is slashing .254/.361/.509 with seven homers.

J.C. Escarra went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Yankees edged the Rockies 5-4 on Sunday.
Escarra had gone hitless in his previous three starts over the last two weeks, but he has a solid .244/.352/.400 line through 54 plate appearances. The 7/7 K/BB is especially nice.
Top prospect Clarke to be called up by Athletics
Following the Atheltics' announcement that they are calling up prized outfield Denzel Clarke, James Schiano discusses what the toolsy prospect with "blazing speed" will bring to the pro level.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #98
Will Warren allowed two runs in four innings and struck out seven before a rain delay ended his start Sunday against the Rockies.
The delay most likely cost Warren a win, as the Yankees had a 4-2 lead going into the bottom of the fifth. Warren had 17 whiffs in 54 pitches before he was shut down. He’s definitely worthy of mixed-league attention at this point, but his next start against the Dodgers isn’t a great matchup.
  • NYY Relief Pitcher #30
Despite giving up a solo homer to Mickey Moniak, Luke Weaver picked up his eighth save Sunday against the Rockies.
Weaver gave up two singles after the homer, but he then got Ezequiel Tovar to fly out and Hunter Goodman to strike out. It’s the closest thing Weaver has had to a misstep in a while, and he still has a 0.76 ERA for the season. Still, the door might have cracked open a little for Devin Williams today. Williams worked a scoreless eighth, striking out three of the five batters he faced, for his sixth hold.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #49
Antonio Senzatela yielded four runs in 4 1/3 innings Sunday in a loss to the Yankees.
Senzatela’s outing ended with the rain delay, but he wasn’t going to last much longer anyway. He lost a sixth straight start and dropped to 1-9 with a 6.50 ERA for the season. He’ll take on the Mets in New York next weekend.
  • KC 2nd Baseman #18
Royals optioned INF/OF Cavan Biggio to Triple-A Omaha.
It’s actually a bit surprising that it took the Royals this long to make the move. Biggio struggled to a .176/.300/.250 slash line in 82 plate appearances with one homer, four RBI and a 20/11 K/BB ratio. Expect a corresponding move to be announced on Sunday. Fantasy managers and baseball fans alike will certainly be clamoring for it to be Jac Caglianone that replaces him on the roster.
  • FA Shortstop #11
    Braves released INF Orlando Arcia.
The 30-year-old infielder had been designated for assignment earlier in the week. He passed through waivers without being claimed and is now free to latch on elsewhere if he so chooses. Arcia was hitting just .194/.219/.226 with zero homers, one RBI and an 8/1 K/BB ratio over his first 32 plate appearances on the season. Given his track record though, it’s possible that teams could be interested in giving him a look as a reserve infielder.
  • SD 3rd Baseman #13
Manny Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of runs scored on Sunday, helping to power the Padres to a 5-3 victory over the Braves.
The 32-year-old superstar third baseman doubled off of Spencer Schwellenbach in the opening inning and scored the game’s first run on a two-out, RBI single off the bat of Jackson Merrill. He then clobbered a 352-foot (100.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Dylan Lee in the eighth inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 5-3. On the season, he’s slashing an outstanding .321/.390/.487 with five long balls, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases.
  • SD 1st Baseman #30
Gavin Sheets went 2-for-4 and belted a two-run homer on Sunday, helping to power the Padres past the Braves in Atlanta.
Sheets tagged Braves’ starter Spencer Schwellenbach for a two-out, game-tying, 423-foot (104.7 mph EV) two-run homer in the sixth inning that knotted things up at three runs apiece. He also singled in the fourth inning but wound up being stranded at second base. With his two-hit attack, the 29-year-old is slashing a respectable .283/.327/.516 with 10 homers, 31 RBI and one stolen base through his first 171 plate appearances with the Padres.
  • SD Relief Pitcher #75
Robert Suarez picked up his 17th save of the season on Sunday, retiring the side in order in the ninth inning to preserve a two-run advantage.
The 34-year-old right-hander had to tangle with the middle of the Braves’ lineup in this one and had zero issues, getting Matt Olson on a comebacker to the mound, Austin Riley on a ground ball to the shortstop and Alex Verdugo on a foul out to left. He needed just nine pitches (seven strikes) to get his job done in this one. On the season, he now sports a 2.45 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and a 22/8 K/BB ratio across his first 22 innings while recording 17 saves in his first 19 chances.
  • SD Starting Pitcher #84
Dylan Cease wasn’t at his best in a no-decision against the Braves on Sunday, giving up three runs on six hits over his five innings of work.
The 29-year-old hurler still managed to rack up eight strikeouts in the contest without walking a batter, so it wasn’t all bad for fantasy managers. He allowed an RBI double to Ozzie Albies in the second inning, then the Braves scratched out another pair of runs in Cease’s final inning of work on a sacrifice fly and a wild pitch. Cease got 19 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the day — a staggering 14 of those on his slider — while posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 4.58 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 72/20 K/BB ratio (59 innings) into Saturday’s strong matchup against the Pirates.
