Orioles acquired INF Seth Loman from the White Sox for cash considerations.
The 27-year-old Loman was hitting .223/.390/.471 with eight homers and 19 RBI through 39 games at Triple-A Charlotte. A powerful first baseman, he’ll serve as organizational depth for the time being.

Jorge Polanco is absent from the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Padres.
Polanco gets the day off during Sunday’s showdown with slugger Cal Raleigh occupying the DH spot to get a break from handling the catching duties. The 31-year-old veteran has hit a bit of a skid recently at the plate, hitting just .217 (10-for-46) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 15 games.
Westburg suffers setback in rehab assignment
Baltimore Orioles' Jordan Westburg suffered a setback during his hamstring injury recovery and James Schiano details whether you should continue to roster the All-Star infielder in fantasy.
  • COL Shortstop #14
Ezequiel Tovar is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks.
Tovar will get a break during Sunday’s showdown at Chase Field after recording a career-high five hits during Saturday’s slugfest. It’s certainly nice to see the 23-year-old producing again in his return from the injured list after a frosty start to the year.
  • COL Left Fielder #27
Jordan Beck is leading off on Saturday against the Diamondbacks for the third straight contest.
Beck finds himself back in the leadoff spot for the third consecutive game following Saturday’s two-homer explosion. The 24-year-old former prospect’s spot atop the lineup is notable since Brenton Doyle is hitting fifth for the second time in the last three games. He’s been a bit of an unexpected breakout sensation for Colorado since returning to the majors back in late April and should be rostered in all fantasy leagues.
  • PIT Shortstop #85
Pirates SS/OF prospect Konnor Griffin went 3-for-6 with two RBI and his 17th stolen base of the season on Saturday for Low-A Bradenton.
Griffin continues to look like one of the top prospects in the dynasty landscape with another monster performance. The -year-old power/speed combo talent has recorded at least three hits in five of his last nine games and is batting .411 (23-for-56) with six extra-base hits, including two homers, and six steals in 13 games since the start of May. He’s pushing for top-10 prospect status from a dynasty standpoint heading towards midseason.
  • TEX Shortstop #89
Rangers SS prospect Sebastian Walcott slugged a two-run homer on Saturday for Double-A Frisco.
Arguably the top prospect in the dynasty landscape, Walcott has gone deep three times over his last five games at Double-A Frisco after mustering only two homers through 31 games at the outset of the year. The 19-year-old prodigy is one of the youngest hitters at the level, which makes his 13 extra-base hits and elite exit velocity data even more impressive. He has a chance to be a special player if he continues on his current trajectory.
  • PHI 3rd Baseman
Phillies 2B/3B prospect Aroon Escobar went 5-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI on Saturday for Low-A Clearwater.
One of the fastest-rising prospects in the dynasty landscape this season, Escobar has been tearing the cover off the ball, hitting .328/.429/.573 with eight homers and one steal through 33 games at Low-A Clearwater. The 20-year-old makes a ton of hard contact with above-average exit velocity data relative to his age and level and boasts impressive long-term power potential. There’s a legitimate chance he’s a top-25 range prospect for dynasty purposes by midseason.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #21
Hunter Greene (groin) threw a bullpen session on Sunday.
Greene told reporters afterwards that he didn’t experience any physical issues during the throwing session and his fastball velocity was back at his usual levels. The hard-throwing fantasy ace has another bullpen session on tap in a couple days and there’s a chance he’s ready to return to Cincinnati’s rotation without needing a minor league rehab start. It’s looking like he’ll return before the end of May.
  • MIA 2nd Baseman #6
Marlins activated 2B Otto Lopez from the 10-day injured list.
Lopez returns to Miami’s second base mix ahead of Sunday’s game against the Rays after missing two weeks recovering from a right ankle sprain. The 26-year-old infielder was hitting .229/.294/.330 with two homers and three steals through 30 games before landing on the shelf back on May 4.
  • MIA Shortstop #9
Marlins placed SS Xavier Edwards on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 15, with a left mid-back strain.
Not great. No word yet on how much time Edwards figures to miss, but back issues can be extremely complicated matters. Marlins manager Clayton McCullough told reporters earlier this weekend that precautionary imaging didn’t reveal any structural issues, so the hope here for fantasy managers is that he’s dealing with a mild strain. The 25-year-old speedster’s absence creates an opportunity for rookie Javier Sanoja to continue playing shortstop in his absence.
  • BOS Shortstop #39
Marcelo Mayer is starting at second base on Sunday for Triple-A Worcester.
Mayer figures to continue playing second base regularly in the coming days as the Red Sox seemingly prepare fellow top prospect Kristian Campbell to play first base at the big-league level. The 22-year-old is a phenomenal defender at shortstop, but his clearest path to an everyday role in Boston at the moment is probably at the keystone. He’s put together a phenomenal start to the season at Triple-A Worcester, batting .273/.345/.474 with eight homers and two steals through 39 games. His time is coming.
