Alexi Casilla is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed inflammation in the back of his right knee.
No structural damage was found, so it doesn’t sound like anything serious. He’ll likely get back on the field in the next couple of days and should be fine for Opening Day.

Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead homer in the eighth as the Yankees came back to beat the Mets 3-2 on Wednesday.
The Yankees scored single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth, courtesy of a Jasson Domínguez double, a Paul Goldschmidt pinch-hit homer and Judge’s homer. The homer off Carlos Vargas was Judge’s hardest-hit ball of the year, leaving his bat at 117.7 mph. He leads the majors with 15 homers.
Don't expect Baez's hot streak to be long-term
Eric Samulski explains why fantasy managers should ride the Javier Baez hot streak but not rely on the Detroit Tigers center fielder for long-term results throughout the season.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #98
Will Warren allowed only a pair of unearned runs over five innings and struck out nine Wednesday against the Mariners.
Both runs scored in the third, an inning that got started on what’s being called a DJ LeMahieu error, even though LeMahieu made a fine throw to first that neither Ben Rice nor Warren decided to reach out and catch. That play might get changed to a single at some point, resulting in the runs being earned (it wasn’t a hit, but it’s even more wrong to call an error on LeMahieu). Warren’s nine strikeouts are a career high. He’s now fanned eight, seven and nine in his last three starts after failing to top six strikeouts in any of his first 11 career starts. He’s beginning to look like an option in deeper mixed leagues. He’ll face the Rangers at home next week.
  • NYY Relief Pitcher #30
Luke Weaver struck out the side in the ninth for a save Wednesday against the Mariners.
Weaver was back out there today despite throwing two innings in the 11-inning loss last night. The save was his fourth in five tries. He and the rest of the Yankees pen will now get a much-appreciated day off on Thursday.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #58
Luis Castillo limited the Yankees to one run over six innings in a no-decision Wednesday.
It was destined to be a good day for Castillo when Julio Rodríguez robbed Trent Grisham of a homer on the first at-bat of the game. After seeing his velocity dip in a poor outing against the Jays last week, Castillo averaged a season-high 95.4 mph on his fastball today. He still gave up plenty of hard contact, but he struck out six and had 17 whiffs. He’s not an every-week guy in mixed leagues these days, but he’s a fine play with the White Sox next on the schedule.
  • SEA 3rd Baseman #9
Ben Williamson went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the loss to the Yankees on Wednesday.
Williamson is 7-for-39 with one extra-base hit and a 13/0 K/BB in his last 11 games, leaving him at .234/.258/.309 in 97 plate appearances overall. Still, he’s getting a lot more playing time than Leo Rivas, who has hit .333/.455/.356 in his 55 plate appearances. That might need to change in the coming days.
  • STL Starting Pitcher #61
Cardinals RHP prospect Sem Robberse underwent Tommy John surgery.
Robberse will be on the shelf likely until the second half of the 2026 campaign. The 23-year-old righty made only four starts this season at Triple-A Memphis before requiring surgery.
  • LAA Left Fielder #15
Matthew Lugo is in center field and batting eighth on Wednesday against the Padres.
Lugo gets the nod over a slumping Kyren Paris after coming off the bench to crush a two-run homer during Tuesday’s showdown at Petco Park. The unheralded 24-year-old prospect is hitting .300 (3-for-10) with two homers and four RBI in five games since being called up last Friday from Triple-A Salt Lake. He’s an intriguing talent with a real chance to carve out a role in Los Angeles, especially with Paris mired in an 11-for-83 (.133) slump since blasting two homers back on April 10.
  • MIN 1st Baseman #18
Kody Clemens hit a three-run homer in the top of the eighth to propel the Twins to an 8-6 win over the Orioles in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.
A doubleheader sweep. Clemens also had an RBI single before giving the Twins the lead by taking Yennier Cano deep in the eighth. It was Clemens’ second homer in 22 at-bats and 11 appearances since being picked up by Minnesota. The OBP skills aren’t there to make him a quality platoon option, but he has managed 16 homers in 398 career at-bats as a major leaguer.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #24
Simeon Woods Richardson was tagged for six runs in four innings by the Orioles in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.
All of the runs came in the third inning, when he gave up a grand slam and a solo homer. The Twins don’t ask Woods Richardson to pitch deep into games at all, so he needs to do considerably better than his current 5.02 ERA. Still, the team has gone 5-3 in his outings anyway, even as he’s won just twice. He’ll probably stay in the rotation and face the Guardians next week.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #44
Cole Sands worked a scoreless ninth for a save in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Orioles.
Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax worked in the first game, so Sands got the call in the second and picked up his first save of 2025 and the sixth of his career. Sands has just a 12/6 K/BB in 16 2/3 innings this season, but he’s been successful anyway in posting a 2.70 ERA. He had a far more impressive 85/12 K/BB in 71 1/3 innings last year.
