Jose Altuve homered twice and drove in four runs in a 9-5 win over the Mariners on Thursday.
Altuve droe in his first run of May with a sac fly in the third inning off George Kirby. The party was just getting started from the former MVP, however. He blasted a solo homer off Eduard Bazardo, and then took Jesse Hahn deep with a runner on to make it an 8-2 lead for the Astros. Even with the pair of homers he’s still forged just a .666 OPS, but it’s certainly possible this is the beginning of a hot streak. Can’t guarantee it, but certainly possible.
