Jackson Kent gave up four runs — three earned — to the Dodgers over five innings in a loss for the Nationals on Friday.
Kent gave up three runs in the third and an unearned one in the fourth. The 23-year-old was excellent in his previous outing against the Marlins with seven innings of one-run baseball, but he didn’t face the Marlins in this one. Kent walked four, struck out four and has looked mediocre — at best — thus far in his limited MLB action. He’ll take a 5.55 ERA into a start scheduled for Wednesday against the Padres.
