All three NASCAR premier series teams were featured at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas this past weekend. On Saturday the XFINITY Series’ 200-lap My Bariatric Solutions 300 went into overtime (1 lap) and was followed by the Truck Series Vankor 350 167-lapper. The Cup drivers competed for 334 laps in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 on Sunday. - Qualifying lineup for this event was set based on a combination of manager points and a random drawing. P1 went to Aric Almirola (#10 Ford Mustang) with #12 Ryan Blaney sharing the front row in the P2 spot. #1 Kurt Busch, #18 Kyle Busch, #4 Kevin Harvick, #2 Brad Keselowski, ##11 Denny Hamlin, #9 Chase Elliott, #22 Joey Logano and #19 Martin Truex Jr. made up the remainder of the top-10 in the starting lineup. - Austin Dillon (#3 Chevrolet Camaro) scored his 3rd victory in 247 NCS races. This is his 1st victory and 5th top-10 finish in 2020. It is his 1st victory and 2nd top-10 finish in 15 races at Texas. Sunoco Rookie of the Year (ROTY) contender Tyler Reddick (2nd), who was making his 1st series start at Fort Worth, posted his 6th top-10 finish in 2020. Joey Logano (3rd) earned his 13th top-10 finish in 24 Texas races. Pole-sitter Aric Almirola led 35 laps and finished in 10th place.
