Ender Inciarte has elected free agency.
Inciarte passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment last week and has refused an outright assignment to Triple-A Syracuse. The 31-year-old veteran wound up appearing in just 11 games for New York during his brief stint in the majors. He’ll test the free agent waters for a new opportunity.

  • MLB Outfield #22
Mets designated OF Ender Inciarte for assignment.
Inciarte was 1-for-8 during his short stay on the Mets’ active major league roster.

  • MLB Outfield #22
Mets purchased the contract of OF Ender Inciarte from Triple-A Syracuse.
Inciarte hasn’t appeared in a major league game since last summer and was batting just .244/.323/.387 in 133 plate appearances this year between the Triple-A affiliates of the Yankees and Mets. He’s not fantasy relevant.

  • MLB Outfield #22
Mets signed OF Ender Inciarte to a minor league contract.
Inciarte will remain in New York after being released by the Yankees last week. The 31-year-old outfielder hasn’t hit much at the major or minor league level the last couple years, sporting a .252/.336/.408 line in 2022 at the Triple-A level.

  • MLB Outfield #22
    Yankees released OF Ender Inciarte.
The 31-year-old outfielder had been at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on a minor league contract. There, he slashed .252/.336/.408 with four homers, 11 RBI and four stolen bases in 34 games. He’ll look to latch on elsewhere on a minor league pact.

  • Relief Pitcher #64
Yankees optioned RHPs Deivi García and Luis Gil; reassigned LHP Manny Bañuelos and OF Ender Inciarte to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
García and Gil are the most prominent names among the latest cuts from Yankees’ camp, but Bañuelos might be the most most shocking inclusion. The 31-year-old lefty turned heads this spring, posting six scoreless innings with a 7/0 K/BB ratio in three appearances (two starts). All three pitchers will open the regular season at Triple-A and could work their way back to the majors.

  • MLB Outfield #22
Yankees signed OF Ender Inciarte to a minor league contract.
Inciarte has batted just .200/.267/.277 with eight extra-base hits over his last 220 major league plate appearances dating back to the beginning of the 2020 season. The 31-year-old was a three-time Gold Glove Award winner in Atlanta and still plays excellent outfield defense, but he’ll surely have a tough time cracking the roster in New York.

  • MLB Outfield #22
    Reds released OF Ender Inciarte.
Inciarte apparently exercised the opt-out in his minor league contract with Cincinnati a couple of days ago. He was slashing .288/.354/.339 in 15 games (65 plate appearances) at Triple-A Louisville.

  • MLB Outfield #22
Reds signed OF Ender Inciarte to a minor league contract.
He was assigned to Triple-A Louisville. Inciarate was released by the Braves on July 29, so it took a week for him to find his new team. The outfielder has been awful at the plate with a .215 average over 89 plate appearances, but still can go get it in the outfield. He has a chance to help the Reds -- although probably not fantasy teams -- over the final two months of the campaign.

  • MLB Outfield #22
    Braves released OF Ender Inciarte.
Inciarte was designated for assignment last week and is now officially a free agent after passing through waivers unclaimed. The rangy 30-year-old outfielder had batted just .215/.276/.316 across 52 games (89 plate appearances) this season with Atlanta.
