Former LSU CB Dwight McGlothern will transfer to Arkansas.
This is a big pickup for the Razorbacks as they get one of the Tigers’ former premier CB. McGlothern (6'2/185) led the team with passes defended (5) along with one interception that was returned for a touchdown. He is very good in man coverage and will be part of an Arkansas defense that was one of the best in the SEC.

Uncommitted four-star 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern released a top-five list of LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, Oregon and Texas.
McGlothern (6'2/190) plans on taking official visits to all five of the above programs, with LSU and Georgia probably the two biggest contenders for his pledge. USC was last team out from this top-five list -- with Texas taking the final slot -- and should be counted as a program to monitor. The Houston native plans on making his commitment announcement at the adidas All-American Bowl in January. Rivals ranks McGlothern as the No. 195 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern indicated that Georgia is now leading for his pledge.
McGlothern (6'2/190) has twice visited the Bulldogs in unofficial capacity this offseason. As for programs which intrigue him beyond UGA, LSU and Oregon are both in the mix, ditto Michigan and Tennessee. Rivals analyst Sam Spiegelman puts those programs in order of lead at Georgia, Oregon, Michigan, LSU. Tennessee, while in the hunt, has more ground to make up. Rivals ranks the Houston native as the No. 136 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman passes along that Virginia Tech “might have emerged” as a frontrunner for uncommitted four-star 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern.
McGlothern (6'2/190) will be taking an official visit to Blacksburg in the weeks ahead. The Hokies are entering the chase late, here, having just recently offered to the Houston native. In addition, LSU and likely Oregon will draw OVs before a commitment is locked in -- McGlothern plans on announcing his pledge at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January. Spiegelman tags Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M as “X-factors” for the for the four-star cornerback. Rivals ranks McGlothern as the No. 195 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

LSU received a verbal commitment from four-star 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern.
McGlothern (6'2/190) had a nice array of hats in front of him when he made his commitment announcement at the All-American bowl, opting in with LSU over fellow finalists USC, Texas, Oregon and Virginia Tech. This one stings a little for the Trojans, as 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong passes along that USC had been trending on the outlet’s Crystal Ball. No dice for HC Clay Helton. LSU gains a lengthy cornerback with nice ball instincts, here. On the 247Sports composite board, McGlothern slots in as the No. 333 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

LSU four-star 2020 CB signee Dwight McGlothern intercepted two passes in Saturday’s All-American Bowl, returning one for a touchdown.
With Kristian Fulton set to play in his final collegiate game when LSU faces Clemson in the College Football Playoff title game on January 13, HC Ed Orgeron and DC Dave Aranda will need to find a corner opposite talented freshman Derek Stingley Jr. McGlothern (6'2/190) will be among those competing for reps, and if his play in the All-American Bowl is any indication of what’s to come LSU has signed a future star. In addition to the two picks, the 2020 signee was also responsible for two pass breakups and two tackles.

Uncommitted four-star 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern recently took an unofficial visit to Georgia.
Rivals analyst Sam Spiegelman believes that there’s real momentum behind Georgia as a legit collegiate home for McGothern. It’ll be a fight for the Bulldogs, though, as both Texas A&M and Texas received multiple unofficial visits this winter. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder out of Houston is currently lining up visits to Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, USC and Oregon. Rivals ranks McGlothern as the No. 136 overall prospect in the 2020 class. It appears as though we will have to wait some time for his final decision, as at this juncture, he might not commit until the All-American Bowl in January. It’s possible that he even ends up holding off on National Signing Day next February. Long road ahead, here.
