Wendell Carter Jr. (left eye abrasion) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
Carter played 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers, going scoreless (0-of-4 FGs) with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocked shots. Mo Bamba isn’t on the injury report, so he would be the likely starter if WCJ cannot play. Donta Hall would also be in line for a minutes increase, but Bamba would be the play for those still taking part in fantasy/DFS leagues.

  • FA Power Forward #45
Donta Hall will sign with the Magic for the remainder of the season.
He has 11 appearances under his belt for the Magic but only played 11.5 minutes per game. There’s very little fantasy impact here.

  • NBA Power Forward #17
The Magic are planning to sign Ignas Brazdeikis to a 10-day contract.
The Magic will release Donta Hall to make room. Brazdeikis only has 14 NBA games under his belt but the rebuilding Magic will give him a chance to impress.

  • Center #4
Mo Bamba (hip) is being listed as questionable for Friday’s game vs. the Raptors.
Bamba wasn’t able to play on Wednesday, which allowed Donta Hall to get into the rotation, and he finished with seven points, nine boards, two assists, one steal, two swats and just one turnover in 17 minutes off the bench, so he could be someone to think about in DFS if Bamba is out again. Check back for another update following Friday’s shootaround.

  • FA Power Forward #45
Donta Hall saw 17 minutes off the bench on Wednesday and finished with seven points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and one turnover in a win over the Bulls.
Hall inked his 10-day deal with the Magic last Friday, but this was his first time getting into a game, as Mo Bamba’s (hip) absence created the opportunity. He did look good while he was out there, but Bamba isn’t dealing with anything serious, and Hall isn’t even under contract for the remainder of the season, so we wouldn’t be running to the wire to grab him.

  • CLE Power Forward #18
Chuma Okeke (sore right hip) will not play vs. the Bucks on Sunday, but he didn’t require an MRI and is day-to-day.
“We’re hoping it’ll be one night, a couple nights and nothing that will be lasting,” said coach Steve Clifford. The Magic are tanking and Okeke’s absence certainly helps in that regard, as he’s been very productive in a starting role since the trade deadline. Otto Porter Jr. (left foot) remains out indefinitely, so the Magic will go small more often and should give James Ennis extended run at power forward. They could even lean on recently-signed forwards Donta Hall and Robert Franks out of necessity. Okeke will be listed as questionable for Monday.

  • FA Power Forward #45
The Magic will sign Donta Hall to a 10-day contract.
Hall has nine NBA games under his belt, but most recently played in the G League where he put up 10.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.4 dimes, 0.6 steals and 2.1 blocks. Those are intriguing numbers and he does have a path to minutes on the tanking Magic, so keep a close eye on him.

  • FA Power Forward #45
The Raptors will sign Donta Hall to a 10-day contract.
The 23-year-old had brief stops with the Pistons and Nets, but was most recently in the G League with 8.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.6 dimes and 1.8 blocks on 61% shooting in 23 minutes per game. It’s hard to see him carving out a big role in Toronto so he’s still miles off the fantasy radar for now.

  • NBA Point Guard #2
Chris Chiozza (right adductor tightness) and Donta Hall (sprained right ankle) have been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
While fans of the Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs may not like this news, the fact of the matter is that Brooklyn is locked into its playoff spot. As a result there’s no need to risk either Chiozza or Hall, who will both be a part of the team’s rotation in the postseason.

  • FA Power Forward #45
Donta Hall (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Thursday’s game vs. the Trail Blazers.
The Nets will have their main guys back on Thursday, so whether Hall plays or not won’t make a difference in fantasy hoops.
