There should be some snow in Philadelphia this weekend. How much is up for debate.
“There is potential for a big storm,” a local weatherman told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Right now, there’s a 55 percent chance that we’ll get 1 to 4 inches, a 30 percent chance we’ll get 4 to 8 and a 15 percent chance we’ll get 8-plus.” Bettors are moving to the cold weather Eagles and the under because of the forecast.

Donovan McNabb is expected to make a quick exit during tonight’s game.
Koy Detmer will probably play at least a half. The Eagles hope they can be as successful as the last time McNabb was out, at the end of the 2002 season.

A sore throwing shoulder forced McNabb to sit out the final organized team practice before the start of next month’s training camp.
McNabb was not able to work out as usual this offseason because of rib injuries that he suffered in the NFL Championship. Combined with his sore shoulder, he’s a bigger injury risk than usual this season.

Eagles observers say QB Donovan McNabb is having his best camp yet with the team.
Perhaps sharing the spotlight with Terrell Owens has relaxed McNabb. He’s solidly our No. 4 QB.

Donovan McNabb refused to fire back at Terrell Owens in his press conference Friday.
''I dreamed of being an actor and now I’m on Days of Our Lives,’' McNabb joked. McNabb wants Owens back and says, ''I still see no reason to talk, when we go on the field it’s all about business,’' McNabb said. ''I can go the whole season without talking to him.’'

Donovan McNabb completed 14-of-19 passes for 132 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his preseason opener.
Perhaps to work on timing with his new receivers, McNabb threw as many passes as any starting QB this weekend. Other than the early interception, he looked great.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that Eagles coach Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb have not spoken “in months.”
Also according to the Daily News, the Birds have lowered their asking price from two first-round picks and a third, to merely a second-rounder. Buffalo and Oakland are considered possible landing spots. McNabb reportedly wants to return to Philly, but the team appears to be gearing up to deal him.

“Multiple sources” tell Yahoo Sports that the Bills and Raiders have inquired about the availability of Donovan McNabb.
This report comes just hours after the Philadelphia Daily News named the same teams as possible McNabb suitors. As Rotoworld’s Chris Wesseling pointed out on Twitter Wednesday, the tea leaves say this may be the tipping point for McNabb in Philadelphia, even if there are no substantial reports yet. We’d recommend to buy Kevin Kolb now in dynasty leagues if he’s available.

Despite an earlier report that the Raiders have contacted the Eagles about a possible Donovan McNabb trade, the Oakland Tribune cites two team employees as being “unaware” of any trade talks.
Considering Al Davis’ usual M.O., it certainly wouldn’t come as a surprise if certain employees were left in the dark. Davis tends to make bold, aggressive moves, so an interest in McNabb would suit his style. The 49ers could take a page from his book, as a McNabb trade is exactly what they need. Coach Mike Singletary conceded as much Wednesday, saying “there’s always interest” in a QB of McNabb’s caliber.

Donovan McNabb doesn’t want to play for the Raiders, a source close to the quarterback tells TMZ.com.
The source isn’t the most reliable, but this has been reported elsewhere too. Even if McNabb refuses to sign an extension with Oakland, a trade could still happen. The Raiders have shown that being in a contract season and over 30 years old are not prohibitive factors when they covet a player.
