    Lions waived RB Devin Moore.
We were surprised to learn Moore was on Detroit’s roster. The 2009 undrafted free agent hasn’t appeared in a game since 2010. The return specialist is almost certainly at the end of the line.
  • FA Running Back #43
Seahawks signed Wyoming RB Devin Moore.
Similar to current Seahawks third-down prospect Justin Forsett, Moore could develop into an asset on passing downs. Moore is much faster than Forsett and should have the upper hand if a roster spot comes down to pure talent.
  • FA Running Back #43
Seahawks released RB Devin Moore from their practice squad.
They believe that former Raider Louis Rankin has more potential.

Colts signed RB Devin Moore, OT Gerald Cadogan, and DT Mitch King to reserve/futures contracts.
Undrafted out of Wyoming, Moore has drawn comparisons to Seahawks RB Justin Forsett. He spent time on the Colts practice squad during the 2009 season.
  • FA Running Back #43
Combine non-invitee Devin Moore, a tailback from Wyoming, worked out for scouts in Indianapolis and ran a 4.41 forty on Thursday.
The late-round prospect measured 5'9 1/2 and 190 pounds. He also posted a 35-inch vertical and a 10-foot long jump. His three-cone drills were timed at 4.22 and 4.29. Moore has a chance to be a third-down back in the pros.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts waived RB/KR Brandon James and WR Sam Giguere.
It looks like Devin Moore has beaten them both out for the kickoff specialist job. James was a star returner at Florida for four seasons, but Moore’s numbers were superior in limited exhibition action. Giguere’s best bet is to return to Canada to carve out a long career in the CFL.

Colts placed RB/KR Devin Moore (neck) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Moore sustained a brachial plexus injury in Week 4. The brachial plexus is a collection of nerve fibers running from the neck through the armpit region and into the arm. The Colts have signed WR Kenny Moore as an option on kickoff returns. Devin is no lock to return next season.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts RB/KR Brandon James fumbled a punt in his audition for the return job Thursday night.
James not only fumbled, but the Packers also recovered the ball in the end zone for a touchdown. Ray Fisher returned one kickoff for 58 yards, likely earning a more extensive look next week. Devin Moore had taken the early lead in the race for both kickoffs and punts, but he was held out of the game with an undisclosed injury.
  • FA Defensive Back #26
CB Jerraud Powers was the Colts’ surprise punt returner on Sunday.
The Colts have kept their plans under wraps all camp, even hinting that Anthony Gonzalez would be the man on punt returns. Powers brought back two punts and was solid, returning one for 13 yards and fair catching another. Devin Moore was the kick returner.
  • FA Running Back #43
Colts RB/KR Devin Moore remains in the hunt for a roster spot.
Moore is competing with Ray Fisher, Brandon James, and Sam Giguere for the Colts’ return man job. So far in the preseason, Moore has averaged 32.3 yards on four kickoff returns. Moore has been seeing some time at RB and has excelled there as well, giving us reason to believe he’s the frontrunner of the group.
