Falcons seventh-round WR/KR Devin Fuller said he is “100 percent” for training camp.
Fuller missed most of the offseason program with a hamstring injury. His health takes on increased importance after the Falcons parted ways with Devin Hester on Tuesday. Fuller should be given a shot to win a role in the return game.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Falcons placed seventh-round WR Devin Fuller (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
He likely needs surgery. Fuller was expected to help out on kick returns following the release of Devin Hester.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Falcons coach Dan Quinn expects seventh-round WR Devin Fuller (hamstring) to be ready for training camp.
Fuller missed the entire offseason, but it shouldn’t impact his roster chances with Devin Hester also sidelined. Fuller is competing for one of the final receiver spots.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Falcons rookie WR Devin Fuller may need shoulder surgery.
A second opinion will determine whether he goes under the knife, which suggests the first opinion was that Fuller indeed needs surgery. A seventh-round pick out of UCLA, Fuller was fighting for the Falcons’ No. 5 receiver spot.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Falcons WR Devin Fuller is out for the season with a torn ACL.
A seventh-round pick last year, Fuller missed his entire rookie season to shoulder surgery. The back-to-back hard-luck injuries threaten Fuller’s career.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
    Falcons waived WR Devin Fuller.
Drafted as a seventh-round pick out of UCLA in 2016, Fuller never saw the field during his two years with Atlanta. He spent all of last year on injured reserve after tearing his ACL at training camp. The 24-year-old offers 4.37 speed and should be able to catch on elsewhere as a camp body, assuming his knee is at or near full strength.
  • FA Wide Receiver #13
Falcons selected UCLA WR Devin Fuller with the No. 238 overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft.
Fuller (6'0/194) book ended Jordan Payton in the Bruins’ receiver corps, parlaying 147 career catches into 1,327 yards (9.03 YPR) and ten touchdowns. After a disappointing senior season plagued by ankle woes and a concussion, Fuller helped himself by blazing 4.39 with a 10-foot-4 broad jump at UCLA’s Pro Day. Fuller’s college track record underwhelms, but he’s been likened to Nate Washington by Rookie Scouting Portfolio’s Matt Waldman for his professional playing style and speed to win downfield. He’s worth a look in camp and will get it with this late selection.
